Jumpmanis a returning level from the originalBraidand is part of World 4. World 4’s levels have a common feature in which the flow of time progresses forward ‘only’ when the player character moves to the right, and rewinds whenever they move left.
Moving from right to left in World 4 levels can allow you to perform actions usually impossible, such as jumping on enemies without killing them. How To Get The First Jumpan Puzzle Piece In Braid
Once you enter the level, move to the right and stop at the first ladder. You will notice all of the trolls stop where they stand. Climb up the ladder and then start walking to the left to make all of the trollswalk in reverse, then climb up the second ladder and jump onto the platform above it.
you’re able to jump on the falling troll while moving left — the troll will not die, since you reverse its death the moment you keep moving to the left. Now, turn around to jump on it a second time while moving to the right to get up behind the gorilla statue. You can now collectthe firstpuzzle piece.
How To Get The Second Jumpman Puzzle Piece In Braid
To the right of the first puzzle piece will be another one, butthis will be the last puzzle piece you pick up, as you will need to get a key that is near the second puzzle piece. Head to the right to find various cannons shooting fireballs, climb up the ladder, and jump over any fireball that get too close to you. This part of the map looks better than ever thanks tothe new visuals of Anniversary Edition.
If you get hit, just rewind time and try again. Make your way to the top platform and collect thesecond puzzle piecein front of the top cannon. Thispuzzle piece is glowing green, so you’re able to move left without losing it. You will also see a key with the same glow, meaning you can walk left with it, and it will not go back to its starting position.
How To Get The Third Puzzle Piece In Jumpman
Pick up the glowing green key, butdo not open the locked door on the right side of the third puzzle piece. If you do, the locked door will immediately reappear because you are moving left — just like inthe level, Irreversible. Even worse is that the key will not be repaired because it is glowing green. Repeat the path you used to get behind the gorilla statue and make your way to where you got the first puzzle piece.
Jump up to the locked door on the left side of the third puzzle piece to open the door and collect it. You can now head to the far right side to complete the level. You will need to climb the ladder and dodge the fireballs again, as there is a lobster claw that will block your path.
