Colossal Order may have recently revealedCities Skylines 2, but that does not mean that the studio is done withCities Skylinesyet. To celebrate the game’s final year, Colossal Order plans to deliver a plethora of new content for players to enjoy. 12 new DLC packs are set to release over the next couple of months, and thenCities Skylines 2will likely follow.
The finalCities SkylinesDLC packs will add so much new content to the eight-year old city builder. Multiple radio stations, numerous content creator packs, and an entire mini-expansion are on the horizon. There seems to be no shortage ofCities Skylinescontent in 2023, and hopefully player’s wallets are prepared.

Three New Content Creator Packs on March 22
The DLC train forCities Skylineswill start on March 22 with three brand-new Content Creator Packs. Each pack is chock-full of fun new bits of aesthetic content for players to pack their cities with. While none of it is a game changer, each one does offer some nice bits of additional content that should tie players over untilthe launch ofCities Skylines 2.
The first pack is called Shopping Malls, and it features over 60 new assets created by modder KingLeno. It adds four unique buildings and 53 new commercial zone buildings, plus numerous theme-related props. The four new buildings that players can use are the Shopping Plaza, Large Grocery Store, Medium Grocery Store, and the Mall of Marvels. While it is all simply aesthetic, this addition should help giveCities Skylines' commercial zonesmore life.
The second pack was created by 3D Artist Setonji “Prince Set” Hotonu, and it is called Africa in Miniature. This pack will feature 28 new buildings inspired by Africa’s diverse architecture. Specifically, the pack includes 11 unique buildings, two monuments, four new service buildings, nine growable buildings, and two props. Each building looks unique, and will hopefully make cities far more diverse and vibrant.
The final Content Creator Pack on March 22 is the Sports Venue pack. This pack was created by modder BadPeanut, and it features multiple new sports stadiums for players to fill their cities with. There are six new large stadiums, six mid-sized stadiums, and 10 community sports parks. The sports stadiums felt like one of the moreunderdeveloped aspects ofCities Skylines,but this pack should breathe new life into the feature.
Three More Content Creator Packs in May
Players have three more Content Creator Packs to look forward to in May. Colossal Order has not revealed the exact release date of this second wave, nor has it shed light on what these three packs will look like. It has revealed the general theme and creator of each, and players will likely learn more once it gets closer to May.
The Industrial Evolution pack is being created by community creator Samantha “Avanya” Woods, and it will include a new set ofgrowable buildings forCities Skylines' industrial districts. The Railroads of Japan pack is being penned by content creator Ryuichi Kaminogi, and it will add new authentic Japanese railroad scenery toCities Skylines. The final pack is called Brooklyn & Queens, and it will add new residential buildings by content creator Prosper that should show the evolution of the titular Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods.
New Radio Stations and Vacation With Us
Content Creator Packs are not the only DLCscoming toCities Skylinesin the next couple of months. There are five new radio stations set to release that should add a plethora of new tracks and music to the game. On March 22, players can grab 80’s Movie Tunes, Pop Punk Radio, and Jadia Radio. In May, they can enjoy Piano Tunes Radio and 90’s Pop Radio. With the amount of stations Colossal Order is adding, players will surely find some great songs to build their cities to.
The final piece of DLC forCities Skylineswill come in the form of a new mini-expansion called Vacation With Us. Colossal Order has not revealed much about this expansion, and it is the only piece of upcoming content without a release window. The graphic that went along with this announcement shows what looks to be a hotel of some kind. While nothing has been confirmed, the name suggests that this pack may feature tourism and vacation mechanics. Players will have to wait for an official reveal trailer to know more.
