Animal Crossing: New Horizonsfans are always showing off their most unique island additions, and one fan has come up with something that makes good use of the 2.0 update content. Specifically, theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer has created a mini village for their Gyroids.
For those unfamiliar withAnimal Crossing: New Horizons’ Gyroids, they have quickly become all the rage since being added back in with the 2.0 update. A returning feature from older games, Gyroids are adorable little creatures that have special movements and the ability to sing. They come in many unique designs and colors, too, meaning that players need to put in some effort to collect them all. Essentially a form of pet, players have gone out of their way to take care of these Gyroids - with Reddit user koobyloob going above and beyond.

TheAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayershared an image that showed how they had built a village within a village, a truly clever concept that allows the player’s Gyroids to have a place to live. In the image, several Gyroids are seen walking on the pathways the player has spread out, making it looks as if they can move around on their own. While the concept is fun enough on its own, the player truly makes it feel like a village with some excellent attention to detail.
While Gyroids may not be able to have homes likeAnimal Crossing: New Horizons’ Villagers, the player was clever enough to simulate living spaces by using several dollhouse items. With the dollhouses being so small, they look like they can be suitable homes for Gyroids. The player also makes sure to customize each of them to give them different colors, adding to their uniqueness and improving significantly improving the village aesthetic. They also added tiny vans to the streets, which they acquired by trading with someone who playsAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
With tiny cars and homes for the Gyroids, theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscreationonly needed one more detail to make it feel complete: nature. Given that most players’ islands have trees somewhere, it only makes sense for the Gyroid village to have some, too. While full-size trees would be too large, as they would tower over the dollhouses and little vans, new trees work perfectly fine. Though koobyloob will constantly need to break and regrow the trees to keep them small, this gives them a reason to visit their well-made Gyroid village every day.
For players looking to make a Gyroid village of their own, collecting a variety of Gyroids will be the first step. Fortunately, aGyroid eventis seeing fragments randomly dropping on beaches, so players can start building their collection a bit faster.
