Many players are hard at work taking advantage of the expanded array of indoor and outdoor decoration options. OneAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer recently shared a painstaking recreation of Joey and Chandler’s apartment from the sitcomFriends.
Joey and Chandler were roommates inFriends, and their shared apartment was crammed full of odd furniture choices and messy decorations. For several seasons, the two men also shared their apartment with a duck and a rooster dubbed the Duck and the Chick. When the two birds eventually died of old age, they were replaced by two new animals named Chick Jr. and Duck Jr.

Reddit user krustygrove has put together a detailed recreation of Joey and Chandler’s apartment inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. This isn’t the first time anAnimal Crossingplayer has recreated a buildingfrom another franchise in the game, but it may be one of the most intricate. At a glance, the apartment features an ancient TV, two recliners, an old-fashioned microwave, a live duck, and a foosball table, all of which were taken directly from the sitcom’s set dressing.
A closer look will reveal that this recreation of one ofFriends' most iconic locationsalso includes two bulletin boards with a number of cards tacked up, a large world map, a small kitchenette, sports equipment, a lamp, and a large landline telephone. According to krustygrove, placing the counters that line the kitchenette was one of the most difficult parts. The Redditor also confirmed that the TV had been deliberately placed a little too close to the entrance door, reflecting theFriendsepisode where Chandler had to squeeze out past the TV unit to get out of his room.
As of writing, it appears that other users are entertained by this in-depth recreation of a beloved location fromthe beloved sitcomFriends. Several users congratulated krustygrove for remembering to include the Duck, which one user declared to be the best character in the show. A second user asked where the Chick was, to which krustygrove replied that it was in the foosball table. The Chick did end up stuck in the foosball during at least one episode. A third user stated that they had also recreated Joey and Chandler’s apartment, but they had used the lawn chairs and beach towels the two men decorated the apartment with after the place was robbed.
