Reddit user “novalue1998” revealed a leak that indicates a new version of the Always Be Closing game mode could be coming toApex. The leak contains text features the game mode followed by “EVOLVED.” This most likely means that there will be a twist on the previous Always Be Closing mode. The original LTM had players drop in with an evo-shield and a non-stop closing ring, causing a fast-paced match. It will be interesting what changes to the game mode will occur to make it evolved.
Limited-time modes have been a fun way to change up gameplay and objectives withinApex Legends. There have been many limited-time modes, including the Grand Soiree event, which added seven different limited-time modes. One of the modes, “Live.Die.Live” hinted at the abilities of Revenant before his release, so players may be treated to a new limited-game mode that gives hints about theabilities of the upcoming character, Ash.
The quests in Season 5 really open up the backstories and lore for each of the characters. Although a little is known about each character, quests help players understand the story ofApex Legendsand helps connect to character’s personalities. Season 6 should provide a great story with the in-game quests and also dive into the new character’s story. Respawn did a great job atdeveloping Loba’s characterand giving her a deep backstory for Season 5.
As Season 5 finishes up, expect many changes to the game heading into Season 6. A new character should be introduced, as well as a brand new map. For now, players will have to wait for these changes, but will most likely have a new limited-game mode soon to finish Season 5 with a bang.
