InAvatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, the villainous RDA are back at it again, and it is up to the players and the Na’vii clans to fight back and restore the balance to the world. To do this, there is always the option of all-out warfare, using the traditional Na’vi weapons and the like to punish the invaders.
However, there is also the option toutilize the humans' technology, not just as weapons, but also as tools to turn their own toys against them. This is where the System Interrogation Device, or SID, comes into play, and this guide will provide all the information on how best to use this tool.
Getting the SID in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Obtaining the SID is a straightforward affair inAvatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, as it ispart of the main quest, Welcome to the Resistance. Speaking to scientist, Alexander Tremayne, will see players obtain the SID, and go through some of the scenarios where it could come into use.
Hacking Using the SID in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Equipping the SID will allow players to spot possible hacking opportunities out in the wild or on the many RDA installations. Simplyhold L2/LT and press Triangle/Y to get the SID equipped, then seek out the icons that will now appear on the screen.
When the distance is close enough, aim the reticle at the device in question andhold R2/RT and adjust the strength so that the while circle falls within the green circle. Hold it in place, and this will overcome the first security measure of the device being hacked. Now, connect to the device or the terminal and a new minigame will appear, where players will have tomove a flashing cursor to the terminal point within a time limitwhile avoiding traps and finding keys to unlock paths.
It is not exactly difficult, and the time limits are always quite generous. Plan out the route before heading off, and always go for the keys so that the optimal path is always available.
Where to Use the SID in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Aside fromtreasure cheststhat hold valuable loot in the game, the SID can be used to hack other more dangerous things.Turretscan be taken offline so that they do not target ally fliers or clan members on the ground, and thehulkingAMPsthat patrol bases can also be disabled for a short while using the SID.
Instead of dealing with armor plates, disabling the AMPs makes it easy to get rid of these foes using weapons or the Ancestor Skill, Eject. Just be careful when using the SID, as it will take place in real-time and enemies can still damage the player.
