Beyond Good and Evilwas one ofUbisoft’s most critically acclaimed games. Initially released in 2003, the game revolved around Jade, an investigative reporter working to uncover an alien conspiracy. While the title did not sell very well, it became a cult hit, and it received an HD remaster in 2011.
Now, Ubisoft and Limited Run Games confirmed thatBeyond Good and Evil’s new editionwill be out on June 25, and come with several upgrades when compared to the previous HD edition. Gamers will be able to playBeyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Editionin resolutions up to 4K at 60 FPS, and the game received several graphical improvements. Some quality-of-life features such as auto-save, the ability to skip cutscenes, and improved controls have also been added to this improved remaster. This edition will also come with new content, including a Speedrun Mode, a special anniversary gallery, and a new treasure hunt that will explore the protagonist’s past and unlock cosmetic rewards. While the game will be sold digitally, Limited Run Games is also selling a physical Collector’s Edition, which can be pre-ordered starting on July 12.

Earlier this week,Beyond Good and Evil HDwas delisted from Steam. Also, Ubisoft leaked the game’s information with a now-deleted tweet hours before the official announcement.
