The Microsoft Store recently leaked something called The Red Door, which appears to be an alpha forCall of Duty 2020, potentially entitledCall of Duty: Black Ops,Black Ops CIA, orBlack Ops Cold Wardepending on who one asks. Now dataminers have been digging through The Red Door files, discovering some interesting information aboutCall of Duty 2020in the process, including a list of multiplayer maps, campaign missions, and the confirmation of Zombies.

The leakedCall of Duty 2020multiplayer maps found inThe Red Door filesmatch a leak from earlier this year, so it seems safe to say that these are very likely the multiplayer maps that fans will be able to check out in the new game. It should be noted that there is no mention of the returningBlack Opsseries multiplayer maps that were previously leaked (Firing Range, Jungle, Nuketown, and Summit), but perhaps those will be added at some point post-launch.

Meanwhile, The Red Door dataminers also found a list of campaign missions, however, many of these names seem like placeholders. What they do seem to confirm is thatCall of Duty 2020will be a globetrotting game, with missions taking place in Germany, Nicaragua, Russia, and Vietnam. It even seems to indicate thatCall of Duty 2020will have players take on the role of a KGB agent, potentially one that infiltrates the United States if the “Amerika” mission is any indication, though that’s just speculation at this time.

And finally, The Red Door datamine forCall of Duty 2020also seems to confirm that the fan favoriteZombies modewill be returning in the new game. Dataminers have found evidence of a co-op mode codenamed “Silver” in the game files, with Treyarch having used colors as codenames for Zombies modes in pastCall of Dutygames.

Of course, it’s always possible that plans could change between now and whenCall of Duty 2020launches, so fans should keep their expectations in check. Rumor has it that theCall of Duty 2020reveal will take place within theWarzonebattle royale, so maybe more concrete information will come sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty 2020is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
