ForCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers, this week is very special. The mid-season update, Season 4 Reloaded, releases June 29th at 11 pm PST and comes packed with all-new game modes, items, and customization options. Some of these are minor changes—like new character skins—whilesome of them are game-changing additions, such as adding juggernauts and a 200-player mode.

Warzone, the battle royale inside a shrinking safe zone, has seen a lot of different game types during its still-early life, from the highly divisive Realism modeand the cash-grabbing Plunder to the most recent addition: Juggernaut Royale. Fans ofCall of Dutygames know the dread that comes associated with juggernauts.

From hours of Spec Ops missions to seemingly impossible campaign levels, the juggernaut enemy demands a tactical approach to defeat. Juggernaut Royale lets players take on the juggernaut mantle and unleash some of their built-up frustration on enemy players, equipped with a mini-gun that can destroy anything in its path. Players simply need to grab an airdropped care package to claim this suit. Once a juggernaut is killed and sent to the Gulag, a new one will drop from the sky, so players need to be on the lookout as soon as one is toppled.

A smaller but very useful new item in the mid-season update is the Spotter Scope. Normally, when a player looks through their scope at an enemy, the enemy is alerted by sunlight flashing off the end of the rifle. The Spotter Scope removes this indicator and allows any player the perfect tool to recon for their team unnoticed. In a game likeWarzone, findingthe best way to obtain recon informationis always crucial. Rather than being in an airdrop crate, players can find this useful piece of gear lying around the map.

Another additionis forModern Warfaremultiplayer. Players see an old game mode return in Team Defender, where teams compete over who can hold onto the flag for the longest, scoring points and defending their flag-carrier as best they can. Points can also be earned by simply killing the enemy flag-carrier, so players can expect a lot of heated rushes back and forth as the timer ticks down.

Although there are stillplenty of bugs and glitches in the game, these new modes and items are a great way to continue the season. From parachuting off of rooftops to taking on contracts with a group of friends, this game continues to have something for everyone.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
