Activision and Infinity Ward have announced the details for the last bigCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 4 update. Going live on July 28,Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 4 is going all-out, bringing back fan-favorite playlists and much more.

The big news is thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfareis bringing back the fan favorite Shipment 24/7 playlist beginning July 28. It will be joined by the Shoot House 24/7 playlist, with Infinity Ward choosing to keep the small-scale maps separate instead of combining them into the Shoot the Ship playlist as it has done in the past. Both maps are popular amongCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefans, but the return ofShipment 24/7is likely to be especially well-received by the community.

Besides Shipment 24/7 and Shoot House 24/7,Call of Duty: Modern Warfarefans can also look forward to the addition ofDeathmatch Dominationand Drop Zone playlists. In Deathmatch Domination, players can earn points both by getting kills like in Team Daethmatch, and by holding objectives like in Domination. Drop Zone, meanwhile, tasks players with collecting killstreaks by holding objectives around the map.

This weekend,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis also going to have double XP, double weapon XP, and double tier progression. This should go a long way in helpingCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefans complete theSeason 4 Battle Passif they have yet to do so. Combining these bonuses with small-scale map playlists like Shipment and Shoot House 24/7 should make completing the Season 4 Battle Pass that much easier.

Needless to say, it looks likeCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 4 is going out with a bang. Next week, fans of the popular FPS can look forward to the start of Season 5, which is expected to begin on Wednesday, August 5. Not much is known aboutCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 5, but leaks have pointed to the addition of anew Cornfield map for Gunfight.

When it comes to Season 5, much of the attention has been focused on theCall of Duty: Warzonebattle royale. Activision has released teasers forWarzoneSeason 5that point to Stadium opening up and moving trains being added to the map, but all should be revealed at some point next week.
