Call of Duty: VanguardZombies, for all its flaws, has been a fairly polished experience when it comes to performance and stability. The mode does still have some bugs though, including a new one that is givingCall of Duty: Vanguardplayers infinite ammunition.

Admittedly, using this exploit would be overkill, as manyCall of Duty: Vanguardreviewshave pointed out how easy Der Anfang can be. While the mode may not have a Wonder Weapon yet, players can essentially avoid fighting completely in certain objectives, refusing to kill their enemies as they progress. Further, the right builds from the Altar of Covenants can make killing a breeze, and the massive amount of Salvage players can build up provides an endless supply of Monkey Bombs.

ForCall of Duty: Vanguardplayers who want an even easier experience, though, there is a way to give the Death Machine infinite ammo. The killstreak was added as part of the midseason update forCall of Duty: VanguardSeason 1, and it is just as deadly as one would expect. Normally, players only have a small bit of ammo with each Death Machine, and as soon as it runs out, they need to craft another with Salvage. However, as shown by Reddit user forengeis11, it is shockingly easy to use the same Death Machine for the whole match.

In theCall of Duty: Vanguardclip, the player can be seen mowing down hordes of the undead with their Death Machine, using it just like one normally would. They briefly switch to their Riot Shield before bringing back the killstreak, and shockingly, the Death Machine has refilled its ammo pool. Possibly caused due to the Riot Shield not technically having ammo, the game may have been confused by the melee weapon. While forengeis11 was not intending to find a game-breaking exploit, it seems that they have done just that.

While this bug has its downsides, as players cannot make progress onCall of Duty: Vanguard’s camo challengeswhen using Death Machines, it essentially gives players a way to progress through objectives for as long as they like. When players’ weapons stop dealing consistent damage to the undead in the high world tiers, they can pull out a Riot Shield and purchase a Death Machine to fly through their tasks. With more ammo added by simply swapping weapons, anyone can use this glitch to their advantage, as it takes no effort at all.

WhileTreyarch’s 115 Day blog postpromised that a new enemy type is coming inCall of Duty: Vanguard’s second Season, the foe will be no match for an ammo-replenishing Death Machine. With this exploit taking away any sense of challenge from Zombies, hopefully it is patched soon.

Call of Duty: Vanguardis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
