With Denji as the protagonist, it’s only natural to have a healthy mix of laughs and cries to reflect the infamous Chainsaw Man himself. At one point, Denji himself even points out how everyone around him seems to be in love with the idea of stealing the infamous Chainsaw Man’s heart, butno one seems to care about Denji’s. While the lovesick protagonist seems to view Makima as an angel and his ideal type romantically, Makima, sadly, doesn’t really return the sentiment.
Unfortunately for Denji, Makima wasn’t lying when she saw him as nothing but a lowly dog. Hopefully, one day, Denji will come to his senses and realize Makima was never right for him since day one.
8Surprised Pikachu: Denji Edition
Somehow even with the prediction about Power and Aki’s deaths set in stone, fans still held their breath, hoping for the best. It’s almost a bit of a cliché for the determined protagonist channeling the power of friendship and changing the course of destiny, saving his friends all in the name of love.

However, going against that cliché, Denji does in fact witness Aki and Power’s untimely deaths. If it weren’t for how dire the situation was, it would almost be hilarious how surprised fans were to see the future that theFuture Devil specifically predictedunfold.
7Simple, Yet Complex
Denji isa complicated character; while many anime protagonists have a high sense of justice and morality, dedicating their lives to fighting evil, Denji is the exception. Denji, being deprived of a relatively normal teenage life, hasn’t really gotten his chance to socialize with anyone his age; especially the opposite sex, and seems to prioritize this. It goes to say that Denji, because of his lack of meaningful friendships during his childhood, Denji grew up with a blurred line between platonic and romantic relationships.
Hopefully any fans that kin Denji have their own Aki and Power to help them realize what meaningful friendships feel like.
6Pochita: The King
Another great take on the classic Yin and Yang meme, this time with theChainsaw Mancast. Denji,Quanxi, and Akiare fairly balanced; or at least have a sense of both good and evil within them. However, fans don’t feel like two characters, in particular, don’t carry the same sense of balance the rest of the cast does.

It’s unanimous that not a soul on the planet would accuse Pochita of being even the least bit evil-hearted (despite him being a devil himself), but on the other end of the spectrum is the powerful and terrifying Makima. Makima may be a fan favorite, but it’d be difficult for even her most dedicated fans to argue that she has kindness somewhere in her heart.

Denji isn’t a perfect protagonist. WhileMy Hero Academia’s Deku orJujutsu Kaisen’s Itadori Yuji may be expected to always pull through the toughest battles to save as many innocent lives as possible, Denji is a different breed.
This classic meme is about whom a certain character would choose to save in case of an emergency; whether it be just one person, both, or neither of them. For Denji, it seems like his attention was elsewhere when everyone else was in danger and opted to save an innocent little kitty cat.Power would be proud!
4Impactful Crossover
There is an ominous theme throughout the series that revolves around Denji’s nightmares about a door that he is tempted to open. Eventually, he understands that it is perhaps in his best interest to take the advice his threatening dreams have been offering him.

This particular meme has been used time and time again for many different fandoms, and it seems like this time around, it’s Denji’s turn. The art ofChainsaw Manis interesting, as it doesn’t bother with keeping anyone’s reputation intact and shows the cast always pulling strange faces instead of keeping them stoic to appear cool and aloof.
