Golden Cheese Cookie’s main role inCookie Run Kingdomis as the founder and Queen of the Golden Cheese Kingdom. Armed with a bow and arrow, and wings on her back, Golden Cheese Cookie’s radiant confidence enamored legions of followers, and her greed for more riches and loyal subjects led to great things before her downfall.
While Golden Cheese Cookie packs tremendous power and plenty of health, building her up with the right toppings will bring one of the best Ranged attackers in all ofCookie Run Kingdom. Toppings are an essential source of building a cookie’s stats and substats, making them more capable in battle.
There are many ways for players to earn Toppings, liketraveling around the World Exploration stagesor venturing out on one of many Balloon Expedition quests. A single grid can contain up to five Toppings at one time, and Toppings can be built up to Level 12 using Topping Pieces and Gold. Here is what Golden Cheese Cookie brings to the table, and how to build her the correct way.
Updated by Mehrdad Khayyat on Jul 02, 2025:A few years after its release, Golden Cheese cookie is still one of the best ranged fighters in Cookie Run: Kingdom. The best thing about this cookie is the fact that it can be placed in the middle line, which makes it possible to leave the rear line for the healing cookies.
Those who didn’t get the Golden Cheese cookie back when it was released for the first time will probably miss out on the Radiant Cheese Chocolate toppings, but it’s not the end of the world, as we have updated the guide now with a build specific for those who missed the topping.
Cookie Run Kingdom: Toppings Build Guide for Golden Cheese Cookie
As one of five Ancient cookies available in the game and the only one to possess the Ranged ability, Golden Cheese Cookie is certain to be one players often use, especially when it comes to Kingdom Arena. Her skill, Brilliance of the Absolute, deals eight times its regular damage when there are five or more enemies on the field. Additionally, Golden Cheese Cookie’s skill removes any buffs, while adding Explosion DMG to continuously damage any enemies caught up in the blast.
Swift Chocolate And Radiant Cheese Build
When it comes to taking advantage ofGolden Cheese Cookie’s tremendous attack power, Swift Chocolate toppings are the way to go. With the priority substat being cooldown, filling up a grid with five of this specific type of topping will grant users an additional 5% cooldown. This means Golden Cheese Cookie can land multiple special skill attacks in quick succession, setting up the player for an easy victory.
Secondary stats worth considering are DMG Resist and CRIT Resist, ensuring Golden Cheese Cookie can remain in play for as long as possible. If players have access to a healer, like Pure Vanilla Cookie, this is an excellent pairing to keep Golden Cheese Cookie’s health full at all times.
During the event that saw Golden Cheese Cookie’s introduction, players could also gain access to specializedRadiant Cheese Chocolate toppings. This exceptional version of the Swift Chocolate topping gives players a better chance at boosting the more favorable substats.
Swift Chocolate And Searing Raspberry Build
Knowing that not everyone has access to Radiant Cheese Chocolate toppings, crafting a new, more accessible build seems necessary, and that’s what the combination of Swift Chocolate and Searing Raspberry would deliver.
Similar to the previous build, two Swift Chocolate toppingsare enough, but this time around, it is highly recommended to also use anEpic Topping Tart of Swift Chocolate, further reducing the overall cooldown of the Golden Cheese Cookie. This combo should be enough to get the cooldown to 11 seconds. Just make sure the Swift Chocolate toppings are fully upgraded.
For those who are not familiar with topping tarts, these can be crafted in themining area. After sending cookies for mining in the depths, they will return with the required ingredients to craft the topping tart. Crafting Epic ones requires more special materials, but the flavor of the tart will be random eventually. So, it might take you some time to finally get a Swift Chocolate tart.
The rest of the spots should be filled withLevel 12 Searing Raspberry toppingsof Epic rarity. This already delivers a12% boost to the ATKrate of the Golden Cheese cookie, but that’s not where it ends, as there is one more option to increase the ATK.
Applying a Beascuit to the Golden Cheese cookie is the cherry on top of the cake. Depending on the rarity of the Beascuit, it will provide a base boost of3% or 4% to both ATK and DEF. The good news is that every upgrade to the Beascuit will increase the boost by almost 1%. So, this is indeed a better means to add more ATK power to the cookie than messing with the toppings.
Higher rarity Beascuits will also deliver up to 4 random buffs as well, and if you are lucky enough, you may get another boost to the cookie’s cooldown. However, do note that random buffs will not improve by upgrading the Beascuit.
Golden Cheese Cookie’s Alternate Skill
Thanks to being a part of the Ancient Cookies group, Golden Cheese Cookie has access to an Alternate Skill, which grants her more special abilities that boost her stats. These three traits will have Golden Cheese becoming more powerful with each use, and the possibility of granting a full revival upon defeat.
