Redditor okkoinu posted on theOverwatch 2subreddit the concept art of skin for young Kiriko, giving the character aCyberpunk 2077-esque look, but not forgetting the elements that characterize the ninja healer. This would not be the first time that CD Projekt Red’s game is remembered:one of Kiriko’s skins inOverwatch 2bears a resemblance to a character fromCyberpunk 2077. In the concept art, Kiriko leaves the look inspired by the costumes of Shinto shrine maidens and appears with shorts, a white T-shirt, and a jacket of vibrant colors. The jacket has the same symbol on the back that appears on her outfit inOverwatch 2. The white shoes also have decorations in the same colors as the jacket.Click here to see more images.
Kiriko wears orange fingerless gloves, which refer to her connection with the Spirit of the Fox. Interestingly, in this concept art, Kiriko has knee guards whose colors and designs are also reminiscent of a fox. Another part of the skin that exploits this element is her cap, with fox colors and ears: on it is stamped the kanji “fox”, which originally appears on the character’s headband. The ofuda paper talismans, used to heal allies, have gained a modern design to accompany the skin. Her kunai gained colors and a similar appearance to a butterfly knife. Kiriko has been a popular choice of fan art creation, earning an anime-style animated short, chibi-like sprays, and afunny alternate Kiriko Ultimate inOverwatch 2.
