TheDark Soulsfranchise is known for its punishing but fair difficulty and incredible lore. Even though the game has tough boss fights andunforgiving PvP, allDark Soulsgames do a great job of giving the player multiple avenues to improve their character.

One major part of improving a character is upgrading their weapons. This is especially true inDark Souls 3since upgrading armor was removed. Increasing weapon damage is key to making both PvE and PvP easier. That said, upgrading a weapon to its limit requires a Titanite Slab, one of the rarest materials in the game. For those looking to gain an edge on their opposition, here are the locations for all ofDark Souls 3’sTitanite Slabs. Spoilers ahead.
15Firelink Shrine 1: Crow
Players can obtain a Titanite Slab as early as the first hour into aDark Souls 3playthrough. From Firelink Shrine, head up the stairs to the right of the entrance that leads to the tower outside. Head to the roof of Firelink Shrine to talk to Pickle Pee, Pump-A-Rump. Drop a Coiled Sword Fragment in its nest to receive a Titanite Slab.
14Firelink Shrine 2: Shrine Handmaid
Afterall Lords of Cinderhave had their remains placed on their respective thrones, the Shrine Handmaid will have a Titanite Slab for sale for 30,000 Souls. Players will need to defeat Yhorm the Giant, the Abyss Watchers, Aldrich, Devourer of Gods, and Lorian, Elder Prince alongside Lothric, Younger Prince.
13Profaned Capital: Siegward Quest Reward
Siegward of Catarina has a lengthy questline that players can partake in from the start ofDark Souls 3at the Undead Settlement. Progressing through Siegward’s questline will eventually take players to the Profaned Capital where the onion knight finds himself imprisoned. Players will need to free him from his cell using the Old Cell Key. Once free, Siegward will give the player a Titanite Slab.
12Grand Archives 1: Chest
Upon entering the Grand Archives, players will come across a Crystal Sage. It will teleport away from the player to a higher floor while firingvarious spells. Follow where the Crystal Sage is going. The second appearance of the Sage will be on the same floor as a lever.

Interacting with it will lower a bookshelf on the floor above. Enter the new room to find a chest that contains a Titanite Slab.
11Grand Archives 2: Golden Winged Knights
Before players fight the Lothric Twin Princes, they will find a rooftop that has three Golden Winged Knights patrolling a circular roof. Kill these three enemies to obtain a Titanite Slab.
10Grand Archives 3: Elevator
An elevator shortcut to the Lothric Princes can be found near the first Grand Archives bonfire. Instead of heading up the elevator, step on the plate but immediately run off of the elevator. A second elevator will appear in its place. Ride this platform down to find a third Titanite Slab.
9Archdragon Peak 1: Havel Knight
After defeating the Ancient Wyvern inArchdragon Peak, players will be teleported to a new area. Proceed as normal until reaching the Great Belfry Bonfire. Look for a ladder near the crumbled ruins to find a deceased wyvern and a Havel NPC. He is protecting the Titanite Slab on the wyvern’s corpse, so players can either choose to defeat Havel and grab it or risk grabbing it while he’s still alive.
8Archdragon Peak 2: Nameless King
One of the hardest Titanite Slabs to obtain can be found after defeating the Nameless King. Head to the final Archdragon Peak bonfire to find a giant bell. Ring it and head through the fog gate below to face the Nameless King. Defeating him will remove the fog from the zone, revealing a plethora of items on the ground. One of these items is a Titanite Slab.
7Painted World Of Ariendel 1: Bonfire
From the Depths of the Painting bonfire, head towards the various Tree Women and look for a small area with a sole Smouldering Tree Woman. Run up to it and kill it. Turn around and a ladder will reveal itself to the player’s left. Climb up the ladder to find a Titanite Slab.
6Painted World Of Ariendel 2: Sister Friede
Towards the end of the DLC, players will have to defeat Sister Friede in an intense boss fight. Defeat Friede during her first and second phases to obtain a Titanite Slab.

Be careful, however, as Sister Friede has a third boss phase that occurs a few seconds after the Slab is awarded.
