Completing theLightfallcampaign is only the beginning of Year 6 inDestiny 2. Aside from all the content that is included in Season of Defiance,several quests and activities unlockfor players once they have completed the story. While some of that content is just side quests that help players learn more about Neomuna and the Cloudstriders, there is one that serves as an epilogue for the campaign.
Shortly after completing the campaign, players will get an Exotic quest for a weapon called Deterministic Chaos. This guide will showDestiny 2players how they can complete this quest and obtain Deterministic Chaos.

How to Get Deterministic Chaos
Deterministic Chaos is obtained through a quest that player get from Nimbus. They only offer this quest to players once the campaign has been completed. Keep in mind that it doesn’t matterwhat difficulty the campaignis beaten on, as Nimbus will offer the quest regardless.
The quest begins with discovering why Nimbus left Rohan’s induction ceremony early. From there, players will need to speak with Nimbus and gather qubits from Vex in Neomuna. After gathering enough qubits, use them to gather data from Cloud Accretions scattered across Neomuna. To spot Cloud Accretions easier, use the Ghost mod for detecting resources at longer range.
When that step is complete, go to Maya’s Retreat. Upon accessing the conflux, a large wave of Vex will attack. Once all the Vex have been destroyed, gather the last data packet and follow the quest iconto meet up with Nimbusand Osiris.
Go to the Thrilladrome
The next step of this quest will require players to go into the Thrilladrome Lost Sector.Complete the Lost Sectorand loot the chest at the end to receive a Vex compass. After that, go to Ahimsa Park and kill Shadow Legion enemies in the area with abilities. Keep killing enemies until the quest updates with the next step, which is to go into Calus’s ship and follow the quest icon to reach an area full of enemies and two spots that can be looted. Speak with Nimbus to get the passkey, and then get ready for an expedition to the Black Garden.
Before proceeding, verify that there is enough space in the Heavy slot as the quest item will be stored there. Once players obtain Deterministic Chaos, the quest item will disappear.
Complete the Mission “What Remains”
This mission involves going through the Black Garden, where theGarden of Salvation raidtakes place. Follow the waypoint and go through the mission until reaching Nimbus. After a brief bit of dialogue, players will get Deterministic Chaos. While players will have obtained the weapon, they still need to complete the mission to finish this quest. After beating the Conceptual Mind, the mission will end. The final step of this quest is to bring the memory core to Nimbus, and then go to the Hall of Heroes to watch a cutscene.
