The Star Path is a battle pass-like system, so players can progress through it and earn rewards by completing several in-game tasks and unlocking tokens. To gain access to more rewards, gamers can acquire the premium version of the Star Path with Moonstones.
The Wonder of Pixar Star Path was added toDisney Dreamlight ValleywhenThe Remembering updatelaunched. This Star Path is all about celebrating Pixar, and it contains various motifs, clothes, furniture, and Dream Styles related to Pixar movies such asFinding Nemo,Finding Dory,Inside Out, andTurning Red. There are six pages filled with rewards and an additional page with bonus Moonstones.

The problem with the Wonder of Pixar Star Path isn’t the rewards that it has to offer, it’s the repetitive and tedious tasks that simply take too long to complete and don’t grant that many tokens afterward. Some fans have shared that its tasks don’t feel rewarding; they’ll spend an entire hour with a companion character doing chores inDisney Dreamlight Valleyonly to get 10 tokens after, allowing them to unlock a motif if they’re lucky.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas been in the community’s crosshairs, especially after the controversial 4,000 Moonstone price tag of the first Dream Bundle. The Premium Star Path isn’t as expensive, butMoonstones are hard to obtain inDisney Dreamlight Valley, and many players resort to purchasing them with real money in order to acquire these special event items. It costs 2,500 Moonstones to acquire the base version of the Premium Star Path, which is the equivalent of $9.99.
There’s no doubt that as the game gets closer to going free-to-play,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s monetization tactics have become more worrisome. It’s a shame that gamers will have to complete more duties now to earn fewer tokens than before. This makes it hard for them to complete the Wonder of Pixar Star Path, and for Premium Star Path owners to get their money’s worth. Thankfully, the Star Path will be available until August 7, so there is still plenty of time to collect tokens and exchange them.
