YouTubestreamer Dr Disrespect recently reacted to an astonishing $500 donation from a new father that watched the Doc while his wife was in labor. A streamer’s audience is incredibly diverse, with viewers watching from across the world while in incredibly different circumstances. Dr Disrespect has likely heard stories from fans in all manner of off situations, but theYouTubestar being watched during a newborn’s birth may have been a first.

This past Friday, Dr Disrespect did a stream like any other. The title of Friday’s stream was “WARZONE AND FORTNITE WITH TIMMY,” though the broadcast was intermixed with the Doc’s typical rants, someWordle, and joking around with fellowYouTube streamer TimTheTatman. Dr Disrespect had yet to play anyFortniteon the stream, and didn’t actually end up playing anyFortnitefor the day, which should convey that he was feeling pretty good about hisWarzone 2play for the stream.

After a particularly frustrating loss in which Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman went out ofWarzone 2at 47th place, TimTheTatman stepped away to get an autograph. During the break, Dr Disrespect was reading some donations in between insulting Timmy’s play. That’s when the $500 donation from MrMightyPants came through, an amount even Dr Disrespect had to take a moment to acknowledge. It wasn’t just the amount of the donation thatshocked Dr Disrespect, though.

The attached message from MrMightyPants read, “Doc, my wife and I just welcomed our first child into the family early this morning, a happy and healthy baby boy. Since I’ve been up for 30 hours now watching the Two-Time, it’s keeping me going. Appreciate you, Doctor.” Dr Disrespect had an immediate reaction to the donation, saying, “Wow,” and cracking a huge smile. The Doc, who is a father himself, couldn’t help but imagine the situation MrMightyPants was in at the moment. He imagined MrMightyPants holding up an iPad withDr Disrespect’s YouTube streamon, his wife in the background holding a baby while Dad sends out a $500 donation.

For a second it almost looks like Dr Disrespect is getting emotion, though it’s hard to tell with his mullet wig and cheap sunglasses. That sentimental look quickly shifts to a cackle as the Doc imagines what the mother’s probably thinking while the dad is waiting tohear what Dr Disrespect has to sayabout his $500 donation. As funny as he considers the situation, Dr Disrespect does make clear his appreciation with a quick finger gun toward the camera.

Streaming is a strange business, to say the least. Dr Disrespect gets this, being a strange YouTube streamer himself. But he’s also exceptional at taking the oddity in stride, being appreciative while maintaining character and continuing to make the kind of content that his fans can’t stop watching - apparently, even while their partners are giving birth. Dr Disrespect kept hisYouTubestream liveplayingWarzone 2for another several hours.
