Now, another gamer has uploaded a video of them utilizing a different, yet similarly effective, spell to destroy this boss inElden Ring.

A Reddit user named mdsp667 has shared a clip of their fight against Dragonlord Placidusax inElden Ring, with the full battle lasting just under 40 seconds. In this case, the player goes next to Dragonlord Placidusax and casts the Meteorite of Astel Sorcery, hitting the enemy with several small meteorites until its health bar is fully depleted. The boss is unable to land even a single hit on mdsp667, and the method appears to be relatively easy to pull off. It seems like mdsp667 utilized the same strategy as the Comet Azur build, as they drink from a Flask of Wondrous Physick before casting Meteorite of Astel.
The player has shared details on stats and the pieces of equipment used to make this strategy work, confirming that they are using Lusat’s Glintstone Staff to cast the spell, with Meteorite Staff in the off-hand. This is in addition to various talismans that increase the damage output of sorceries, along with the Intelligence stat at level 60. Finally, mdsp667 states that they mixed the Cerulean Hidden Tear in the flask forunlimited FP inElden Ring, allowing them to cast the spell for the full duration of the fight.
