The Great Stars Hammer is located inside a caravan in Altus Plateau, getting dragged away by two Trolls and also protected by a horde of enemies inElden Ring. It’s one of the 14 Great Hammers that scales with Strength and Dexterity.
It was believed long ago that the blood-stained star was a bad omen, and theGreat Starswere no different since theElden Ringweapon’s spikes are covered in red, which causes Bleed build-up. There are three stars on the end of the stick, and each star is full of spikes. Besides the Bleed feature, Great Stars also slightly restores HP when hitting opponents.

Great Stars Hammer Location In Elden Ring
The Great Stars Hammer can be found northeast of the Writheblood Ruins,Altus Plateau inElden Ring. It’s a bit tricky to reach it, but it’s still easier than most weapons. To get there,travel to Forest-Spanning Greatbridge Site of Lost Grace, next to Finger Reader and Nomadic Merchant NPCs, thenuse the Teleport Waygate to get to the other side of the bridge.
Once Tarnished reach there, turn south and walk to the end of the Greatbridge; then, summoning Torrent is crucial in the next step.
Mount the horse, jump over the railing on the west side, and use the Spirit Spring to safely land down. Next, still, on Torrent, use the same Spring to jump up on the higher cliff and land near the enemies that are carrying the Great Stars.
How To Get The Great Stars Hammer
Once players are near the enemy caravan, eliminate allthe surroundingElden Ringenemies, as not doing so will hinder the process of getting the Great Stars. There are mostly minor enemies.
Some may be annoying because of the Greatshield, but other than that, it should be easy. Additionally, there is one Mad Pumpkin Head, so ensure to not alert it while killing the small enemies.
The next problem is the moving caravan, since there are two chained Trolls dragging it away, and even ifElden Ringplayers manage to climb it, the chest cannot be opened unless the carriage stops. Here, there are two options:
Tarnished can kill one of the Trolls, which will make the caravan stop completely as the other giant can’t pull the weight on its own. Thus, making it easier for players to climb the carriage and open the chest to get the Great Stars.
Alternatively, Tarnished can hit one of the Trolls’ legs to make it fall to the ground, making the Caravan stop automatically, and theElden Ringweapon’s chest is now easily accessible. However, this step needs to be done quickly before the fallen Troll stands up and continues moving.
The second option is better for early game players, as Giants may be difficult to handle.
