These new world events are tied to the main story of theHigh IsleChapter, and have their ownDaily Quest for High Isle rewardcoffers like world events before. Be careful taking on a Volcanic Vent on your own, but if there are other players there this new world event isn’t as tough as others.
What Are Volcanic Vents?
Volcanic Vents began toappear on High Isle only recently, as the Ascendant Order and the Sea Elves and Druids that worked with them used powerful storm magic to bring havoc to the isle. The Stonelore Druids task players to investigate these locations so they might know better how to seal them.
The Vents are not necessarily natural formations, evidenced by the hordes of elemental enemies that spawn when one opens up.The Daily Quest “Venting The Threat”, in which players are told to help disrupt a Volcanic Vent anywhere on High Isle, is easier than the other two as players can complete any Volcanic Vent rather than a specific one.
Volcanic Vent Locations in High Isle
There are seven Volcanic Vents spread throughout High Isle and Amenos, which remain on the map onlyif players discover themby going close to their location. The compass and map icon for Volcanic Vents is visually very similar to the icon for Dolmens in vanilla ESO zones. As you approach, it should pop up on the compass, indicating the direction to head.

There is only ever one Volcanic Vent active at a time, which can be seen on the world map if the location has been discovered. This indicates that the Volcanic Vent is about to spawn or has already spawned, so if you have a Daily Quest you want to get done quickly, be sure to make your way there quickly.

Rewards for Completing Volcanic Vents
After completing this world event the Stonelore Druid will seal the Vent, and a unique reward container will spawn (look for a large chunk of stone that spawns when the battle music ends). Players can interact with this container to receive a variety of rewards, including various rarities of crafting and upgrade materials, item sets, and Treasure that can be sold for decent profit.
Completing the Daily Quest associated with Volcanic Vents gives players a Reward Coffer for theHigh IsleChapter with a small chance to contain a Motif or other rare reward from the Chapter. They almost always have apiece of armor from the Chapter, though These aren’t completed automatically, and must be turned in to receive the Coffer.
