Melee combat inEnshroudedcan be overwhelming, especially if players aren’t geared enough to match the level of their opponents. While there are several flavors of fighter armor available at the Blacksmith, the Guard of the North set can easily trump all of them without the need to burn through any crafting materials.
Enshroudedhas plenty of loot that you can obtain in chests and other containers, but unlike these random ones, pieces of the Guard of the North set always spawn in the same place. If you’veupgraded your Flame Altarand are near the Level 15 mark, here’s where you can find this unique armor set relatively early on.
Enshrouded Guard of the North Set Location
You can find all pieces ofEnshrouded’sGuard of the North armor inPikemead’s Reach, the capital city of Embervale located to the north of the Cinder Vault. This is a Level 15 area that’s swarming with all sorts of Shroud monsters, including the usual assortment of melee fighters, archers, beetles, and brutes. If you don’t have good equipment, tryfarming for legendary gearby opening silver or gold chests. You’ll also need to upgrade your Flame Level to at least Level 3 to make it through the lethal fog.
Once you arrive at Pikemead, put down a Flame Altar and a Workbench by the main gate. There’s going to be a lot of fighting involved here, and having a place where you’re able to rest, repair, and respawn is going to come in handy. Then, make your way to the following locations to get all pieces of the Guard of the North set.
Before attempting Pikemead’s Reach, we highly recommend getting Double Jump and Updraft, two ofthe best skills inEnshrouded. Also, bring healing potions and some ranged weapons to deal with some of the nastier enemies in the city.
The Guard of the North set gives you a nice bump to your stats across the board. It provides extra health and stamina (max values and regeneration), damage, and critical hit chance. However, it cuts your ability to stay in the Shroud by roughly three and a half minutes. You can negate this upgrading your Flame Level, using potions and prayers, or unlocking certain passive skills.
