TheEpic Games Storehas released its free game for the week of June 29, while also confirming what will replace it on July 6,Grime.As usual, fans will have until 10 am on Thursday to claim the available title.
For now, someEpic Games Store users can claimThe Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos. This indie tactical action RPG embraces core elements of aDungeons and Dragonscampaign, with a slight twist. A big focus is thehumor that usually comes from aDungeons and Dragonstable, with players controlling unlikely and clumsy heroes in a game filled with humor and silly encounters. Unfortunately, EGS users in Argentina, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and others will not be able to claim this game, basically anywhere the title is not typically sold on the EGS storefront.

ReplacingThe Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of ChaosisGrime, a fast, unforgiving, horror-based action RPGwhere players turn their foes into living weapons, consuming their remains with a black hole. The game features an otherwordly degree of surrealism in an organically connected world, the ability to conjure living weapons, a unique way to improve skills, face menacing bosses, and more. All in all, the two could probably not be any more different, and that’s a good thing for the Epic Games Store.

Variety is key in any free game service, Epic Games Store included. There are so many genres of video games that it’s impossible to please everyone, but chances are, if someone is not in the humor ofDungeon of Naheulbeuk, they may be more interested in thegrungey world ofGrime.
Of course, it remains to be seen how well-received these titles are asEpic Games Storefreebies. Luckily, if this week’s games are not someone’s cup of tea, then next week’s selection is just a short wait away. And if for some reason, none of these games click, then more will be revealed in the coming weeks. The constant weekly additions are a huge boon for the Epic Games Store and its users, and this is why.
