Fallout Worldswill offer a range of new options regardingFallout 76’sservers, adding additional public servers with new features as well as the ability for players to create customizable private servers. As for what they’ll be trying out,Fallout Worlds’main addition is a range of new server options. It seems players will essentially be able to drastically tweakFallout 76to become the exact experience they want, whether that’s enabling crazy jump heights, removing the need for electricity in base building, upping the spawn rate of certain creatures, giving themselves infinite ammo, or an array of other adjustments. It will essentially allow them to tailor-fitFallout 76to their playstyleand enjoy the game their way.

It will also split the game into two modes: Public Worlds and Custom Worlds. The former will be a selection of servers created byBethesda’s developers alongside the input of the community. The team notes that it’ll show off the range of customization options available through theFallout Worldsupdate, giving players inspiration for their own private servers.

For those wanting to create their own wacky take on Appalachia, Custom Worlds allows them to make a private server with their own specific customization options. Unfortunately, creating and customizing a private server will be limited to those paying for amonthly Fallout 1st membership, although regular players will be able to hop into the private world of a Fallout 1st member if invited.

It seems the addition is a big part ofFallout 76’sfuture, with Bethesda promising to offer “more customizable options and ways to play toFallout Worlds” following feedback from the community.Fallout Worldsisn’t the only slice of content coming toFallout 76in the near future, with the game also getting a winter update calledTales From the Stars. It seems to be themed around aliens, with the teaser image showing a vault dweller pointing at a UFO. Next year, players will also be able to venture out on new missions titled Expeditions, with the first seeing them return to The Pitt, a location first visited duringFallout 3’slineup of DLC.

Fallout 76is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
