First Paralogue of Chapter 18 of Fire Emblem Engage: The Sage Lord
This is Leif’s Paralogue. In order to get his max bond opened up, players will have to fight him in a Paralogue battle. In the battle, there are four manned ballistas, several unmanned ballistas, and a slew ofArmored Units. Thankfully, the ballistas have limited ammo, so players can just tank the hits until they run out. But, players will want to be careful of bringing flying units, and they will want several magic users for those Armored enemies. Most enemies are at pretty standard levels and have standard weapons. There are also some High Priests down by the ballistas with status staffs.
Leif is surrounded by Mage Knights and High Priests with status-related staffs like freezes, silences, and similar. Players will want to bring some physical DPS' to take this Emblem out. His powers are:
On Turn 3 of this battle, more enemies will begin to spawn. Thankfully, they are all the way in the southeast, giving players time to react. After turn 7 and turn 8 and more turns, even more units will spawn from the same place, so players will want to take out Leif as quickly as possible before even more attackers join the party.
The enemies, when player units get too close toreturningFire EmblemheroLeif, will begin blowing up the bridges, turning them into shoals. Players will move a lot slower through these, so try to be out of the way of these bridges, just in case.
Second Paralogue of Chapter 18 of Fire Emblem Engage: The Holy Knight
Sigurd also has aFire Emblem EngageParaloguein this Chapter, so Alear will have to battle him to get his max Bond. Players have 12 units to take him on.
As a warning, when players manage to put the bridge down,Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War’s Sigurdwill summon 18 more units to help him. That is not a typo;Sigurd gets 18 more unitslate in the fight.
This battle becomes no joke; it was already going to be challenging with the mages surrounding him. Putting the bridge down makes Sigurd move toward the player’s unit, but none of the extra units move with him.If players don’t head north to engage the extra units, they do not move.Engage them at high risk.
The Story Mission of Chapter 18 of Fire Emblem Engage
This story mission takes place on a boat being attacked by two other boats, which changes the way players will need to approach combat. Players will need to keep an eye out for several things.
There are two treasure chests at either end of the screen, with a thief to the northwest. There is a rowboat on which the thief can escape, so that will be the player’s timer for grabbing that loot.
