However, players who manage to snag a copy of this game for their console can still try the 2-player Grinder mode. Teaming up with a friend and taking on wave after wave of challenging foes certainly makes for a great time indeed.

The idea of pitting death row inmates against each other in a violent game of frisbee, called Blitz, sounds like a pretty ridiculous idea. So, props should be given toDeathrowfor making this concept a surprisingly engaging one.

The local four-player matches can turn into a chaotic yet riveting mess. Players who want to enjoy a game of Blitz with their friends will have a great time with this title.

7007: Nightfire

TheJames Bondgames really took off after the success ofGoldenEye 007. While other games in the series might not be all that popular,007: Nightfireis a title that endeared itself to most fans upon release.

It’s a shame that more people don’t talk at length about this great title. Its local multiplayer mode makes for a chaotic yet fun time as four players try to hunt their friends down in the various multiplayer maps.

The idea of hunting down zombies as a group is a classic and proven idea of video games to play around with. So, it’s easy to see whyHunter: The Reckoningmakes for a really easy recommendation.

Teaming up with friends to take down these undead monstrosities makes for a ton of fun. It’s a shame that not many people talk about this series since it definitely deserves its time in the spotlight.

The idea of aMario Partyfor mature people isn’t really the worst idea around, andFuzion Frenzydefinitely does a great job of giving this concept the attention it deserved. The end result wasa great party game for the Xboxthat many people don’t even know about.

Engaging in a bunch of minigames across various modern environments makes for a great time indeed. Players who are lucky enough to own the original Xbox will have a great time checking this game out with their friends!

3D brawlers were all the rage back when the Xbox was in its heyday.Kung Fu Chaoswas one such title that utilized 4-player local co-op to great effect.

Blasting through stages and defeating enemies with a litany of impressive moves made for a great time indeed. The sheer chaos that could ensue in multiplayer mode was a blast.

Sometimes, a rhythm game that revolves around karaoke is all that’s required to craft a unique and engaging title. This is precisely whatKaraoke Revolution Partyaccomplished to great effect.

2Def Jam: Fight For NY

The idea of hip-hop artists literally fighting each other to claim the crown of being the best rapper around is simply hilarious. This is one of the many reasons whyDef Jam: Fight for NYwas such a popular game at the time.

Out of all the games on this list, this title is perhaps the least ‘forgotten’ of the lot. The sheer number of crazy fights in this title makes it one of the better brawlers on the console.

Speaking of games that aren’t forgotten per se,Red Dead Revolveris a great action-adventure that set the bedrock for the infinitely popularRed Dead Redemptionseries. However, even the biggest fan of Rockstar’s western open-world games haven’t really tried this game out.

It’s a shame sinceRed Dead Revolver’s story and gameplay are actually pretty great. It helps that the game also has local multiplayer where players could either shoot each other or the game’s enemies across various maps and scenarios.
