In the event, players are able to loot new exotic weapons from vaults owned by the “Cold-Blooded” syndicate. This is done by eliminating AI bosses, who drop the key cards needed to access these new vaults. But players must be careful, as doing this will raise their heat level, making them visible on the map to other players. Players can also access new, limited-time augments, which will be part ofFortnite’s existing set of augments.

The risk is worth the reward, however, as players with higher heat levels will have faster movement speed and regenerating health.Fortnite’s new exotic weapons are very powerful, one example is the Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle, which takes a regular Red-Eye Assault rifle and gives it explosive projectiles. To accompany these new changes, Epic Games has added a “mini” battle pass toFortnitefor the duration of this event. Completing Most Wanted challenges will unlock new cosmetics from this battle pass, all of which can be earned for free.

With a free skin on offer, players have plenty of cosmetics to unlock before Season 1 ends, including thesecret skin of Fortnite’s current battle pass. Fans knew it would be Geralt of Rivia fromThe Witcherseries, but there wasn’t a way of accessing the skin before the challenges were released. Geralt joins the ever-growing line of franchise crossovers, which now includes Isaac Clarke, Doomslayer, Lara Craft, Kratos, and many more.

Players have thoroughly enjoyed the latest season inFortnite, and the Most Wanted event is sure to bring in both recurring and new players. Some fans have already started looking to the future to see what will arrive in Chapter 4 Season 2 later this year, as well as what might arrive in the nextFortnitemonthly Crew Pack.
