Forza Horizon 5has been a runaway success for Playground games, seeing over 20 million players since its launch in 2021. The game allows players to own over five hundred unique vehicles from over a hundred different manufacturers. The game is one of the most successful examples of a live-service racing game, beating out the likes ofGran Turismo 7andThe Crew 2in terms of player count and longevity. The developers recently released the heavily anticipatedForza Horizon 5: Hot Wheelsexpansion, which has injected a breath of fresh air into the game’s content. The DLC is a whole new map full of Hot-Wheels tracks and a few new cars that can be earned and unlocked by playing the DLC content.

With the launch of the Hot-Wheels DLC, the Hot-Wheels cars in the game have gone up in terms of desirability with every player seeking to add them to their collection. Among the Hot-Wheels cars in the gameis the Twin-Mill. The Twin-Mill was already in the game even before the Hot-Wheels expansion got added to the game, but it is a rare, exclusive vehicle that can be a little difficult to acquire. The car is known for its iconic twin motors protruding from either side of its bonnet. It is widely regarded as the most popular hot-wheels car to ever exist. There are a number of ways in which it can be acquired inForza Horizon 5.
Auction House
The quickest (and arguably the easiest) way to get the Twin Mill inForza Horizon 5is through the auction house. Players can simply buy the car in the auction house for around two million credits. Two million credits can be a lot of money for beginners, but veterans of the game know that there areplenty of ways to grind and earn that much money.
All players need to do is go to the auctionhouse under the “Buy or Sell Cars” tabwhenever they’re at a festival site or safe house and go to the Auction House. Under the auction house, they’ll need to use the search function to find listings of the Hot Wheels Twin Mill for sale and buyout the auction. They can try their luck for getting the car cheaper by bidding for it as well.
Wheelspin
Another way to unlock the Twin Mill is to earn it through a wheelspin/super wheelspin.Wheelspins are RnG based rewardsthat players can acquire in-game which reward players with free cosmetics, cars or in-game credits. Players can acquire wheelspins in a number of ways, like completing Festival Playlist events, in-game milestones and unlocks or by purchasing them in the Forzathon Shop.

The Twin Mill is one of the cars that can be unlocked from a wheelspin. However, this depends entirely on the player’s luck, and they’ll have to find ways to grind and unlock as many wheelspins as they can until they unlock the car.
Festival Playlist
The Festival Playlist is usually the best way for players tounlock the latest and rarest cars in the game. It becomes available to players after they unlock the Hall-of-Fame. New cars are added to the game on a monthly basis and the Festival Playlist is a progression system that changes on a weekly basis (Each week is a different ‘season’ in game).
The Twin Mill was a Festival Playlist reward for Series 9 (Which was in the month of July, just before the Hot Wheels DLC was launched). Players could acquire the car by earning 80 points in the Festival Playlist. Even if players may have missed out on the Twin Mill in Series 9, they might want to keep an eye out on the Festival Playlist in-case the car does return as a seasonal reward in the future.
Forzathon Shop
The Forzathon Shop is an in-game storefront where players can purchase rare rewards like rare/exclusive cars, cosmetics, and wheelspins using an in-game currency called Forzathon Points. Players can earn Forzathon Points by completing in-game activities like the Horizon Arcade, Forzathon Weekly and Daily Forzathon objectives which are available as objectives in the Festival Playlist. Players can also earn Forzathon Points as rewards for collecting certain cars in the car collection or unlocking certain skills in the skill-trees for certain cars.
Like the Festival Playlist, the Forzathon Shop changes every week and players that want to add the Hot Wheels Twin Mill to their collection may want to keep an eye out on the Forzathon Shop for whenever the car becomes available for purchase in the store. This is also amethod that factors in luckand timing, but players have plenty of time to grind Forzathon points in-game for whenever the car becomes available for purchase in the Forzathon Shop.
