An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade is the main quest inGenshin Impact’s Chenyu Vale area. Chenyu Vale is considered a Liyue zone, but since it was added far later in version 4.4, it comes with its own version ofGeoculus, similar toDragonspine’s Crimson Agate.
When players first enter the Chenyu Vale area, they’ll be greeted by an adeptus, and Travelers will get the An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade quest.
How To Check The Clues Nearby In An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade Quest
Tocheck the cluesnearby inGenshin Impact’s An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade quest, players mustplace the Sacred Simulacra near the study desk, and then interact with the fish drawing.
Upon entering Adeptus’s Repose, players will see a Sacred Simulacra across the small river, away from its green pedestal. Take the statue using the Adeptal power, then place it on the nearby platform, and the Sacred Simulacra will say that it’s the butler of the place.
Take that same statue andhead deeper into the cave, going up the track until there’s a desk at the end of the area. Near the table is another green pedestal; place the Sacred Simulacra there. The Simulacra will say, “If you are going to enter Master’s study, remember not to touch the stone slate.”
Now, there should be a sparkle on the Golden Carp drawing next to the Sacred Simulacra. Interact with the painting by pressingCheckto progress with the quest.
Players should be transported to another place where they meet Fujin in front of a mural. It turns out that the drawing of the carp was taken away from the mural for an unknown reason, despite the original mural being an artwork to appreciate the work of adepti that shelters the creatures of Chenyu Vale atthe time of great war.
Despite losing most of her strengths, Fujin is determined to nurse Chenyu Cale back to health. Of course, this can only be done with the Traveler’s help as they’re capable of wielding the Adeptal power that’srequired for the ritualFujin wishes to hold. She said that there’s one more Golden Carp, so players must continue to find more of theFishbefore Fujin can proceed.
Now, you’ll be teleported back to the Adeptus’s Repose, right in front of the Golden Carp drawing.Examine the muralby using the Adeptal power button, and the fish will fly out of the stone. Once everything is settled in the Adeptus’s Repose, players must head to Mt. Xuanlian to find the final fish.
