The Emperor of Fire and Iron boss tasks players with draining the colossal crab’s Pyro shield, interrupting its actions and allowing players to deal massive damage to the unprotected boss. The Icewind Suite takes advantage ofGenshin Impact’s new Pneuma and Ousia mechanics, with different forms for each side of the combat trick.Genshin Impact’s newest boss is reportedly set to focus around Elemental Reactions and quick thinking.

A new leak from prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat has revealed more details about theMillennial Pearl Seahorse boss coming toGenshin Impact’s Version 4.1. The primary mechanic for the seahorse boss will reportedly revolve around its “Millennial Pearl,” which increases resistances and can be destroyed using Elemental Reactions. Once the Pearl’s Electro is dropped low enough, the boss will drop three “Hearts of Storm” which players can destroy to shred the boss' resistances. Leaks have also suggested the Millennial Pearl Seahorse will appear inthe Spiral Abyss lineup for Version 4.1.
Genshin Impact’s newest world boss comes as one of several enemies planned to be added duringGenshin Impact’s next update. Previous leaks have teased a variety of enemies coming to the game, including the Seneschal of Wind and Seneschal of Frost among others.Genshin Impactis also rumored to be adding more of the previously mentionedLocal Legend mini-bosseswith Version 4.1, suggested to be introducing five new mini-bosses. The Version 4.1 update forGenshin Impactis currently expected to launch on September 27.
Along with new characters and enemies,Genshin Impact’s Version 4.1 update will welcome a suite of new events to the RPG. Leaks have teased both a poetry festival within the game’s first region of Mondstadt anda “fishblasting” event with five-star character Kleewill run during Version 4.1. The next update toGenshin Impactis also expected to introduce a login rewards campaign to celebrate the game’s third anniversary, granting up to 10 Intertwined Fates. The debut ofGenshin Impact’s newest boss will add another unique challenge to the game’s newest region.
