AGenshin Impactleak reveals the interior of a house that apparently belongs to a new character named Baizhu. This Dendro user has officially been confirmed to arrive in the upcoming update 3.6 which, according to HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, should drop around April 20.
Many players are eagerly awaiting Baizhu’s release since he’s one of the most anticipated characters in the community. Baizhu participated in one of theGenshin Impact’s earliest quests in Liyue where he got introduced as the owner of the popular Bubu Pharmacy. The game’s Twitter account also announced another Dendro character, the famous Sumeru architect known as Kaveh.

A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit reveals the interior of Baizhu’s house which will probably be accessible in the upcoming update. This would not be the first time for a new character to invite the Traveler to their house during a quest as players went through the same thing with the recently released Alhaitham. Even though he is one of themost popular characters inGenshin Impact, there is not a lot of information about Baizhu. His recently revealed biography claims that Baizhu cannot save all his patients, including himself. The bio also confirms that Baizhu has a sickness for which he takes bitter medicines every day, and he’s apparently in extremely poor physical condition.
When it comes to his power on the field, recent leaks have revealed that Baizhu will be a new healing support who also has the ability to dish out a decent amount of damage. Even though many rumors predicted that his iconic snake known as Changsheng would play a significant part in his kit,recent beta footage of Baizhu has proven otherwise. His Elemental Skill, Universal Diagnosis, makes him send a Gossamer Sprite through the air which deals Dendro damage to three different targets and heals nearby teammates upon its return.
His play style will apparently revolve around Healing Holism, Baizhu’s Elemental Burst which generates a powerful shield that heals the active character and attacks nearby enemies. Playersexpect Baizhu to become a core part of team compositionsthat rely on triggering Dendro elemental reactions.
This would also mean that he should probably be paired with the Dendro Archon Nahida who’s widely accepted as the best Dendro character in the game. According to new rumors,Nahida could receive her first re-runin the upcomingGenshin Impactupdate 3.6.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
