OneGenshin Impactplayer has noticed an interesting detail about Furina, a brand-new playable unit that is expected to arrive in the game in version 4.2. Furina is currently an NPC who plays a crucial role in Chapter 4 of the Archon Quest and has a compelling story based on the information previous leaks have provided. She will allegedly be a five-star Hydro character with a sword as her primary weapon.
With almost every update,Genshin Impacthas been introducing new playable charactersthat players can unlock by using Intertwined Fates or completing specific quests. Among them are Lyney and Lynette, the twin brothers who have been added to the current banner in version 4.0 earlier this month. Aside from these Fontaine-based characters, Charlotte, Dainsleif, and Furina will reportedly make their debut in Teyvat later this year. As the release of version 4.1 looms closer, more leaks about their weapons and abilities will emerge on the game’s subreddit.

AGenshin Impactplayer known as Maxwell_Adams on Reddit has noticed an unusual detail about Furina, claiming that those glowing things attached to her hair are Oceanid fin fingers. Given all Archons have highlights in their hair of the color of their element, Furina may be one of these influential characters. If this theory is correct, she will have a distinct race in addition to her powers. There’s also the chance that those sparkly things are just thematic design choices.
Many people in the comments section agreed that Furina, also known as Focalors, will be one ofGenshin Impact’s Archon characters, with some speculating that her hair will only sparkle when she performs specific abilities. Some also pointed out that these shiny things are actually parts of a twin-tail.
Archons are non-human characters whose main job is to preside over the world of Teyvat. They are major parts ofGenshin Impact’s ongoing Archon storylineand associated with specific elements like Anemo, Geo, and Electro. Nahida, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, and Venti among these deities that fit in a variety of teams thanks to their flexible ability kit.
