The Praetorian Golems are a type of enemy inGenshin Impactthat drops some essential materials. These drops are used as enhancement materials to level up certain weapons like theCrimson’s Moon Semblance inGenshin Impact.

It’s not easy collecting any type of material as it will take some time to farm, and thePraetorian Golemsdrops are no different. Depending on the enemies' level, they usually drop Ruined Hilts, Splintered Hilts, and Still-Smoldering Hilts.

Praetorian Golem Locations In Genshin Impact

There areabout 20 Praetorian Golemsfound in Fontaine. Theenemies are mostly scattered in the Sea of Bygone Eras. The Golems are a bit tricky to defeat since their health bar is protected by a shield that needs to be destroyed to inflict damage more easily. However, do keep in mind thatsome of these Golems will not respawnas they arerelated to certain Quests inGenshin Impact.

Petrichor

On Petrichor Island, a Golem can be found south of the Faded Theater Domain. This Golem is part of The Shadow Over PetrichorQuest inGenshin Impactand will not respawn after defeating it for the first time.

Faded Castle

On the first layer of the Faded Castle, there will be four Praetorian Golems, but unfortunately, they arepart of the Underwater Nocturne Quest. So, after defeating the enemies, they will not respawn.

Go to the Faded Castle’s northern Waypoint and keep climbing the stairs until a Golem appears. After that, go to the Faded Castle’s middle layer Waypoint and head southwest to encounter another enemy. Finally, the Waypoint that’s closest to the Legatus Golemboss inGenshin Impact, has a normal Golem enemy nearby.

Caesareum Palace

Once players are swimming in the water of the Sea of Bygone Ears, head to the Caesareum Palace to see four Praetorian Golems on each side. Keep in mind that the eastern side might have three Golems instead of two, but one of the enemies is related to a Quest, so it won’t come back.

Portus Anticus

The Portus Anticus has a lot of Golems. Two are found in the middle and one can be located on the western side and eastern side. The Portus Anticus' southwestern entrance will have two Praetorian Golems chatting, and they are also a part of the Quest where you need to break Scylla’s chains. If players don’t manage toearn the Leader’s trust inGenshin Impact, a fight will break out and the Golems must be defeated to break the chains. Like other quest-related Golems, these won’t respawn as well.
