The announcement ofGoat Simulator 3during the Summer Game Fest shocked even the fans of the original game. That’s not just becauseGoat Simulator 2doesn’t even exist, but also that developer Coffee Stain had somehow managed to elevate the mayhem of the original game. Coffee Stain also confirmed thatGoat Simulator 3was surprisingly far along in development. It’s so far along, in fact, that the team is now ready to announceGoat Simulator 3’s release date.

When originally announced, Coffee Stain confirmed thatGoat Simulator 3would arrive in late 2022. Via the latestGoat Simulator 3trailer, the open-world action-sim is now confirmed to be arriving on November 17. As previously announced,Goat Simulator 3will launch on PC via theEpic Games Store, as well as next-gen consoles including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The new trailer forGoat Simulator 3doesn’t exactly reveal anything new about the odd game. However, it is as hilarious as it is unsettling. The trailer revolves around a large number of goats falling out of the sky and an unhealthy amount of closeups of the goats' udders. These goats then fall on the people living inGoat Simulator 3’s island setting, each entirely unaware of what’s coming. In that regard, the trailer is a clear message (or threat) toGoat Simulatorfans. Watch the skies, becauseGoat Simulator 3is on its way.

With the announcement ofGoat Simulator 3’s release date, Coffee Stain has also opened up the opportunity to pre-purchase or pre-order the game on supported platforms. Because of course Coffee Stain would, those who pre-order the game will get a free in-game “Pre-Udder,” whichCoffee Stainsays is “exactly what you think it is.” The udders in the trailer should make clear exactly what players can expect with their pre-order.

The option to pre-purchase a Digital Downgrade Edition ofGoat Simulator 3is also available. It’s packed with what Coffee Stain describes as “random goat garbage,” but what’s better described as DLC including a variety of remastered cosmetics and content from theoriginalGoat Simulator. The DLC includes variousPaydaymasks, MMO tank armor, a space helmet and suit, and also 3D printing files for Pilgor the goat, Tony Shark, Goat Tower, and Trinket. The Digital Downgrade Edition costs $39.99, $10 more than the standard edition.

Today’s release date announcement forGoat Simulator 3comes with little to no build-up. The game’s Twitter account has shared only a few silly TikTok videos since theSummer Game Fest. The Coffee Stain YouTube channel has no other trailers. Luckily, those interested in pre-orderingGoat Simulator 3likely already know what they want. Coffee Stain can spend the next several months persuading everyone else thatGoat Simulator 3is in their best interest to acquire.

Goat Simulator 3releases on November 17 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
