Summary
Anime fans have been eagerly awaiting the second season ofGoblin Slayerfor years, and it is finally coming this Fall. The series follows Goblin Slayer - an adventurer who primarily hunts goblins. Like other Adventurers, he is part of the Adventurer’s Guild, which offers quests and civilian requests. It is also in charge of assigning each Adventurer a rank. Goblin Slayer is a silver-ranked Adventurer, and fans of the series have met several Adventurers with the same rank.

The highest rank is platinum, andHerois currently the only known Adventurer who holds that rank. Silver is the third-highest rank, and it is usually given to veteran Adventurers who possess great skill with weapons and magic. Silver-ranked Adventurers can deal with strong opponents like Goblin Champions, but a group can still have difficulty fighting an Ogre.
8Witch
There are many spellcasters inGoblin Slayer,and Witch is arguably the most enchanting spellcaster in the series. She tends to speak in short and paused sentences, and she likes to tease people by using sexual undertones in normal conversations. That being said, she is a very caring person, and she is in a two-person party with Spearman.
Witch is an experienced adventurer with a great deal of knowledge regarding spells and magical objects. She cancounter the spells of other spellcasters, and she can deflect non-magical projectiles. Witch can use Magic Missile to attack enemies, and she can enchant an ally’s weapon with magical fire.
7Dwarf Shaman
Dwarf Shaman gets into a lot of arguments with High Elf Archer, but most of the time he is a happy and cheerful person. He is a seasoned adventurer, and likeother dwarves, he knows a great deal about metal, stone, and alcohol. He is skilled with a hand axe, and he can use a sling fairly well.

Dwarf Shaman may use weapons, but he is a spellcaster first and foremost. He can use up to four spells a day, but most of them require a catalyst, which is why he carries a bag into battle. He can force enemies to pass out with the Stupor spell, and he can fire enchanted rocks with Stone Blast. He can use magic to bind and snare enemies, and he can scare enemies with magical illusions.
6High Elf Archer
High Elf Archer is 2,000 years old, which means that she is the oldest member of Goblin Slayer’s party, but she is still pretty young by elven standards. She may be old, but High Elf Archer still has an innocent view of the world, which explains why she was shocked by the goblins' brutality. She seems calm, but she is actually pretty short-tempered.
As her name suggests, she isa gifted archer. She can shoot multiple arrows at once, and she can fire arrows on curved paths. She possesses great agility and hearing, and she is skilled enough to detect and disarm simple traps.
5Lizard Priest
The lizardmen are one ofthe many racesinGoblin Slayer.Like other members of his race, Lizard Priest sports an intimidating and monstrous appearance, but he is actually a polite and respectful individual. He is a combination of a priest and fighter, which means that he can cast spells and fight with conventional weapons.
Due to his impressive strength, Lizard Priest prefers to fight bare-handed, but he can use magic to turn a fang into a scimitar-like blade. He can cast up to four spells a day, and he usually summons a Dragontooth Warrior by using several fangs as a catalyst. He can enhance his strength with Partial Dragon, or heal his allies with the Refresh spell.
4Female Knight
Female Knight is a beautiful young woman with long blonde hair, and she is currently a member of Heavy Warrior’s party. While adventuring, she is a reliable and focused fighter, but she tends to become an argumentative party girl when she is off-duty.
Based on her swordsmanship, education, and knowledge of castle defenses, she appears to be of noble birth. Female Knight can use a miracle to create holy light, and she can use another to bless weapons with holy energy. She wears body-fitting armor and a cape, and she is equipped with a beautiful longsword. She also carries a shield that can block Heavy Warrior’s attacks.
3Heavy Warrior
Heavy Warrior is a handsome adventurer who wears a black suit of armor with a cape. He smiled when he saw a Goblin Champion appear on the battlefield because he enjoys fighting strong opponents. He may be crusty at times, but he does have a soft side, and he will often help train new adventurers.

As his name suggests, Heavy Warrior wields alarge heavy sword. and he can swing it with one hand. He is equipped with a Ring of Might, Braces of Expectational Swordsmanship, and Magic Gloves, which all enhance his physical strength. He is strong enough to block a Goblin Champion’s attack, and he can shatter gargoyles with ease.
2Spearman
Spearman is based in the frontier, and he is hailed as the region’s strongest Adventurer. He is very confident in his fighting abilities, and unlike other Adventurers, he likes to do the right thing even when there is little monetary gain. He believed that Goblin Slayer did not care about his achievements, and this gave birth to a silly one-sided rivalry.
He carries a long enchanted spear into combat, and he typically wears blue armor with dark yellow outlines. His skills are so revered that he was offered a position in the Royal Guard, but he refused. He can also use Spells like Slow, Spider Web, and Counterspell.
1Goblin Slayer
Goblin Slayeris the main character of the series, and he became a silver-ranked Adventurer by killing only goblins. His village was attacked by goblins when he was a boy, and everyone he knew was killed. As a result, he wishes to exterminate every goblin he encounters.
He has been trained as a fighter and ranger, and as a result, he has become an impressive swordsman and marksman. He can also serve as a scout if needed. He is not attached to his equipment, but he is always wearing full-body armor with flexible joints. Goblins may be his main focus, but he can fight other monsters like an Ogre, Giant Eye, and evil sorcerers.
