Specifically, this figure is based on a Rocket Launcher Trooper. These soldiers of the Empire look much like a regular Stormtrooper, with their rank and role distinguished by the red Pauldron (also reserved for Grenadiers and Incinerator Troopers). This faithful recreation of the Stormtrooper will retail for $27.99, will go up for pre-order on September 15 (11 am ET), exclusively at GameStop as part of the GameStop Collector Fest, and will release sometime in Spring 2023.

The Black Series has made several figures based onStar WarsJedi: Fallen Order, and this means that collectors will be able to organize them as they see fit to recreate this part of the franchise universe. Alongside this new Rocket Launcher Trooper, for example, there are Scouts, Flametroopers, Night Brothers, and more. Also, in terms of Cal Kestis, there is the Poncho version as seen inStar WarsJedi: Fallen Order, but there is also another Hasbro figure (revealed at San Diego Comic-Con) featuringStar WarsJedi: Survivor’s version of Cal Kestis. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed this version of the figure not only has a lightsaber, but also a blaster, which could suggest major changes to the upcoming sequel’s gameplay.
Indeed,Star WarsJedi: Survivor will likely be a great source of even more figures for The Gaming Greats subline. This next chapter in Cal Kestis' journey takes place years after the first game, which means there’s plenty of time to introduce new Stormtroopers, villains, and more.Star WarsJedi: Survivor’s release dateis sometime in early 2023, but fans will just have to wait and see how the story goes and if any new figures come out of it as well.
