With the arrival of the v29.40 update, players can travel to StarWarsIslands and locate a Rebel Outpost, before battling against Stormtroopers andprogressing through the Rebel Adventure Pass. Though getting straight into the action may be at the forefront of every player’s mind, there are a few steps they will need to take before diving headfirst into combat.
While exploring Star Wars Islands, players will likely come acrossitems such as Lightsabersand E-11 Blasters. However, though findingStar Wars-related weaponry and gear will outfit aspiring Rebels with the necessary tools to progress through the world, theRebel Workbenchwill allow gamers to craft them right off the bat.
How To Get A Rebel Workbench
The Rebel Workbench is essential for crafting important tools and weapons like the Macrobinoculars,E-11 Blasters, Bowcasters, and Thermal Detonators.
When upgrading the Rebel Outpost, players will naturally be introduced to the Rebel Workbench, as it is one of the three requirements to upgrade the Rebel Outpost to Level 6.Acquiring a Rebel WorkbenchinLEGO Fortniteis relatively simple,requiring only 5 Wood and 8 Plastoidto build it.
Garnering sufficient Wood at this stage is fairly straightforward, as it can be acquired right off the ground or viaharvesting Trees with an Axe. Plastoid, on the other hand, is anessential resourceunique to theStar WarsIsland. Early on, players willacquire Plastoid by removing the debris from around the Rebel Outpostduring their time upgrading it. However,Plastoid can also be obtained consistently by eliminating Stormtrooperswithin the world.
Once gamers have the required resources, they can simplyhead to the Build Menu and select the Rebel Workbench. Next, place the Rebel Workbench in an applicable area and hit the Build Input Key. It should be noted that the Rebel Workbench will need to be placed under shelter, for it will be rendered unusable out in the open once it rains.
Once placed down, gamers can then interact with the Rebel Workbench to begincrafting the best gear inLEGO Fortnite.
