How to Unlock and Craft Wish Machine
The Wish Machine is a device you will encounter while progressing through the main storyline. You can use this machine to obtain essential items such as new gear pieces, blueprints, and cosmetic items.
You will come across the Wish Machine during the main quest line in the Greywater Camp of the Iron River area. Once you encounter the machine, interact with it to get the option of moving it to your base or crafting it using required resources.
You can also craft a Wish Machine once you’ve unlocked the schematic for a Wish Machine in the Memetics menu.
How to Use Wish Machine
Once you have the Wish Machinein your base, you can use yourStarchrom(in-game currency) to start pulling items from it. You can either go for a single draw or ten draws at a time, depending on the resources you currently have.
As you will need Starchrom in plentiful amounts, make sure you farm it sufficiently. To earn Starchrom, you’re able to complete tasks, events, and a few log-in activities:
Once you have the desired amount of Starchrom, visit the Wish Machine and interact with it. You will have two different options to draw:
Confirm your selection to initiate the process. This will start with a mini-whacking game where you hit a llama with a mallet. While the llama you hit will not affect the final prize you get, you cannot miss the shot. However, if you do not want to play the game, hit the Skip Cutscene button, which will skip the entire procedure.
After the cutscene, you can collect your reward,which could be a blueprint, gear, or a cosmetic item, depending on your luck. Fortunately, the item you have drawn will be removed from the draw pool to ensure you get a new item every time.
