Attaching a teaser or trailer for a highly anticipated film to a huge summer blockbuster has been a common practice in the film distribution industry for decades. The fifteen-secondJurassic World: Dominionteaserof the extended preview focuses exclusively on different species of dinosaurs and their interactions in a natural setting. Tyrannosaurus Rexes, pterodactyls, velociraptors, and more dinosaurs all make an appearance. The teaser showcases a sense of scale and majesty when it comes to the framing of the dinosaurs, giving off the effect that the dinosaurs onscreen are truly roaming free from the influence of humans.
Jurassic World: Dominionis very likely to continue its predecessors' pattern of box office success.Jurassic World’s opening weekend gross was $200 million in the domestic market alone—which was record-breaking at the time and wouldn’t be topped untilStar Wars: The Force Awakens.
