Since itsanimerelease back in 2019,Kaguya-Sama: Love Is Warhas been a smash-hit among romance and comedy fans alike. A good part of this admiration comes from the constant character-based humor that happens time and time against, building a familiarity with the cast and prompting endless laughter.

However, despite the amazing humor,Kaguya-Sama: Love Is Waris also known for being semi-realistic and mundane. All the situations in theanime, regardless of theintellectual and wealth disparitiesfound among the main cast, very well could happen in the real world — this adds to the effect of the anime’s punchlines. Naturally, the characters also have well-thought-out birthdays and physical characteristics that remain constant throughout the show; here are a few.

NOTE: This table does not represent all official measurements of the Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War’s manga cast, but the released measurements found in the anime adaptation. Therefore, some characters may be missing.

7Kaguya Shinomiya

Kaguya Shinomiya, thetitular main characterofKaguya-Sama: Love Is War, is the vice president of the Shuchi’in Student Council. As such, it should come as no surprise that she canonically 17 years old — the average age of a junior/early senior in the Japanese schooling system.

In addition, Kaguya is fairly short, tying for the third-shortest character among the series’ main cast. However, her short stature does not match up to the high pride of her family, which is part of the reason for her high achievements. Despite only being 17 years old, Kaguya is an excellent student, winner of many awards, the Student Council vice-president, and an expert in Japanese-style archery, even winning national tournaments.

6Miyuki Shirogane

Though each character has their own mature and immature traits, Miyuki Shirogane is considered by many to be one of the more mature characters in the main cast. Or at least, his seriousness reflects his status as an upperclassman and the President of the Student Council.

Miyuki Shirogane is known to throw himself into any challenge with full determination, showing his hard-working nature: taking on several part-time jobs, becoming the number one ranked student to stand on equal ground with Kaguya, and even practicing mundane skills endlessly with Chika Fujiwara (causing a lot of trauma for the latter). In addition, Miyuki Shirogane is also the tallest character amongKaguya-Sama: Love Is War’smain cast.

5Chika Fujiwara

Chika Fujiwara, the Secretary of the Shuchi’in Student Council, is something of a mixed bag. On the one hand, she is a long-time friend of Kaguya’s; yet on the other, she is constantly cursed by the latter for her chaotic nature. Nonetheless, Chika is shown to be one of Kaguya’s oldest friends, and her first friend to be met in school (as opposed to at home like Ai Hayasaka).

The reason for this largely stems from their similar age, being in the same school since elementary. Likewise, Chika Fujiwara also has her own set of accomplishments like Kaguya, being an award-winning pianist, speaking several languages, and of course, becoming the Secretary of the Shuchi’in Student Council. Compared to Kaguya, she is also notably shorter in the anime — Chika is the second-shortest member of the main cast, though this height does not limit herfunny personality.

4Yu Ishigami

A year below the rest of the main cast, Yu Ishigami is notably less mature than Miyuki and Kaguya (most of the time). He does not take well to studying and prefers tospend his time gaming, much to the chagrin of his fellow freshman Miko Iino.

He isn’t without his mature moments though, often acting as a source of advice for both Miyuki and Kaguya. Yu Ishigami is highly analytical and can often discern issues that other members of the main cast overlook. Despite his invisible presence much of the time, Yu Ishigami is actually one of the tallest characters inKaguya-Sama: Love Is War. Yu Ishigami clocks in at 169 cm, making him the second tallest of the main cast.

3Ai Hayasaka

Given her role in the show, it should come as no surprise that Ai Hayasaka is the oldest character amongKaguya-Sama: Love Is War’smain cast — she is a year older than the other characters in the Student Council’s inner circle. This makes sense, as Hayasaka is also shown time and time again to be one of the most mature characters in the show (even more than some of the adults).

Hayasaka has shown herself to be capable of managing the operations of Kaguya Shinomiya’s household, from mundane issues like laundry to complex issues like dealing with Kaguya’s love life. In addition to management, Ai Hayasaka also is shown to have learned many technical skills dealing with computers, many of which take years of practice to master. Among the female members of the anime’s main cast, Hayasaka is the tallest.

2Kei Shirogane

As thelittle sister of the series’ protagonist, Kei Shirogane appears fairly often during the events ofKaguya-Sama: Love Is War.This becomes even more frequent later on in the plot, as the story starts to focus even more on the home life of the main characters.

Kei Shirogane is a lot like her brother, being highly hard-working and serious, as well as having a large focus on saving money. Despite this, however, she is shown to not get along well with her brother (though this is just a façade to hide her caring side). In addition, Kei is known to get along well with Chika Fujiwara’s family, while also somewhat idolizing Kaguya Shinomiya.

1Miko Iino

Miko Iino is a little like a chihuahua. She’s small but has a very loud bark, being the main representative of the Disciplinary Committee. Her yelling is often directed at her classmate, Yu Ishigami. Of the main cast, Miko Iino is the shortest, measuring at a mere 147 cm.

Despite this, Miko Iino is one of the most outspoken characters in the entire show, preferring to scold openly rather than scheme like Kaguya Shinomiya. This suits her well, as she represents public morals in Shuchi’in Academy, and also plans to study law after graduating from Shuchi’in Academy.
