Lethal Company: What is Forest Keeper?
Beware of the Forest Keepers when venturing into the forest biomes of Vow, Dine, and March moons. These massive creatures bear a striking resemblance to trees and are very strong. From Sigurd’s journal entries, it is known that these creatures eat everything they see, more out of curiosity than necessity, as they feed through photosynthesis.
However, this does not make them any less dangerous to the ship’s crew. It’s also worth noting that these creatures attack monsters as well. To minimize the chances of encountering them, fans should finish all essential tasks on the moon fast, as they tend to show up after 4 PM. The higher the level of danger on the planet is, the more likely they are to appear.
How to Beat Forest Keeper in Lethal Company
Hitting Forest Keepers with a shovel or sign will only tickle but not hurt them due to their tough skin. It is best to avoid them as much as possible,so try to move quietly while crouched, take cover behind trees, and avoid being seen by them. If they spot a player, they will chase after them, and if they don’t hide, the Forest Keeper will capture and devour them.
However, there is still hope for escape if a teammate acts quickly and uses a Stun Grenade or Zap Gun to stun the Forest Keeper. Another effective way to avoid the Forest Keeper is to be inside the ship or facility but not stand too close to the ship’s door, as the Forest Keeper can snatch a player who stands too close to it.
