Marvel’s Avengersplayers should be more than busy during thesefinal days of the Red Room Takeover event, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be another rotation of priority missions and challenges. The Red Room Takeover is wrapping up and heroes can take the next few days to complete these additional challenges for some extra XP and item rewards as May comes to a close and June kicks off.

Thanks tothe addition of the Champion System, there is more motivation than ever for players to take part in the weekly lineup of challenges and earn that extra XP (even if they are already max hero level). The typical grind is back, as always, with two HARM challenges, two priority missions, and a Mega Hive forMarvel’s Avengersplayers who are up for that sort of challenge.

The week 39 rotation brings a chance to complete the usual amount of low or high level challenges to claim some guaranteed item and XP rewards. The incentives are definitely worthwhile for heroes that aren’t max level yet, but the Champion System does make them a bit more enticing, even for players who havealready maxed out their Power Level.

Endgame heroes are probably already familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems.

This week is built around content that players should be used to at this point and the rotating challenges deliver some fresh motivation to revisit existing missionsthanks to guaranteed rewards. The missions that are up for grabs this week offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to. Take careful note of the modifiers listed here before diving in head first…

Guaranteed Reward: Polychoron & Hero-Specific Gear

Priority HARM Challenges

Priority HARM Room Challenges have additional modifiers and reward comics that increase your collection and boost your stats.

Famine

Mega Hive

“The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you can run it again with new modifiers.”

Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.

Oasis

Goliath

That should be just about everything players need to know to prepare for the current week’s challenges. The next big event arriving in the game will focus onthe Cosmic Cube Villain Sector, so expect details about that challenge to be arriving in the coming days.
