Elden Ring’smassive open world has all sorts of unique locations and NPCs to find and meet. Defeating Godrick The Grafted will open up the map even further and give players access to the northern regions along with the choice ofwhat to do next.
As players continue to explore the world, they will come across Scrolls and Prayerbooks. These items can be given to specific NPCs to expand the spells they can sell, depending on the Scroll or Prayerbook they are given. These are limited items, and it’s important to remember which NPCs you give them to should you want to return to purchase a specific spell only they now sell.
Where To Find The Church Of Vows In Elden Ring
After defeating Godrick The Grafted and traveling out to the northern end of the castle, players will find the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. From here, take the western path down to the lake below. Most of this lake is ankle-deep and can be walked on without issue.Stick to the eastern side of the lake and travel north until you reach the Eastern Liurnia Lake Shore Site Of Gracedirectly east of the entrance toRaya Lucaria Academy.
From this Site Of Grace, follow the main road north and take a left at the first fork. Continue west down the road and take the next left at the following fork in the road to see the Church Of Vows directly ahead. Should players arrive atnight after exhausting all of Miriel’s dialogue options, there will be a Bell Bearing Hunter to fight, but a Stake of Marika is out front with a Site of Grace being found within.
Why Find Miriel, Pastor Of Vows In Elden Ring
Miriel, Pastor of Vows, is the large turtle knowledgeable about theworld of the Lands Betweenand can give the players many bits of lore. Miriel also acts as a vendor for Sorceries and Incantations, being able to accept most Scrolls and Prayerbooks. Miriel is asafe NPC to give these items to, as he will not move, and the Church of Vowshas a Site of Grace to quickly travel to whenever needed.
It doesn’t matter what NPC is given Scrolls or Prayerbooks, as the items sold stay the same. The player’s choice of whom to give Scrolls and Prayerbooks to is ultimately up to convenience, and Miriel is the most convenient NPC to reach after discovering the Church of Vows and its Site of Grace.
