Anticipation forMortal Kombat 1has been incredibly high since the game’s initial announcement. TheMortal Kombat 1DLC lineup includes Omni-Man, Homelander, and Peacemaker, though none of them will be featured in the beta test.

TheMortal Kombat 1beta test takes place from August 18 to August 21 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X gamers that have pre-ordered the game. Those participating in the beta test will have six characters to choose from: Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Kenshi, Kitana, Johnny Cage, and Li Mei. There will also be fourKameo Fightersto choose from in the form of Kano, Sonya, Jax, and Frost.Mortal Kombat 1pre-order beta testers will have the chance to fight it out on The Teahouse and Johnny Cage’s Mansion stages.

Of course,Mortal Kombat 1’s full release will have more playable characters, Kameo Fighters, and stages available. The beta is really just a taste of what fans can expect, as the fullMortal Kombat 1base game roster also includes Baraka, Kung Lao, Mileena, Raiden, Rain,franchise mainstay Scorpion, Smoke, Reiko, and Tanya. It’s possible that there will be even moreMortal Kombat 1base game roster members as well, though they have yet to be revealed at the time of this writing.
