Among these characters, some areknown for their sinister intentionsand dark deeds that add a different dynamic to the story. Some of these characters, like Hinata, are also not inherently evil and only commit these despicable acts as a response to the circumstances they were forced into.

6Hinata Sakaguchi
A Dark Past
Although Hinata is not inherently evil, she faced a harsh reality before her transportation to this fantastical world, and her past shaped her personality. Her fathre was a gambling addict who racked up massive debt, which made life hard for her family. In line with her cold and calculating character, she decided to kill him to claim his life insurance policy, which she did, despite being only fifteen years old.
Hinata wasalso about to murderher mother, who witnessed this gruesome act, before Hinata was teleported to the Central World as a stray. She became a student of Shizue and eventually decided to become the most powerful knight in the Holy Empire, Lubelius, to achieve her dream of making a utopia where people could live in peace and happiness.
5Yamza
Clayman’s Middle Finger
Yamzaserved as the Commanderof Clayman’s army and occupied the position of Middle Finger among his Five Fingers, the group of his most powerful and trusted subordinates. Yamza is the only one of the Five Fingers to willingly join Clayman’s ranks. Unlike the others, he didn’t need any coercion or the influence of any spells to swear his fealty to the Demon Lord.
During his years under Clayman, Yamza developed a dangerous personality by imitating his master, employing his underhanded tactics in battle. Yamza also has a high sense of self-preservation and will not hesitate to betray anyone for his own gain. He had no problem abandoning Clayman’s army during a high-stakes battle despite being the Commander-in-Chief.
4Shogo Taguchi
Aggressive Otherworlder
Shogo Taguchi is one of the Otherworlders who is unlucky enough to be summoned to this new world by the Kingdoms in search of warriors to take on monsters for them. Shogo had always been a violent person, and his environment’s indulgence of high school delinquents made it worse.
Immediately after his summoning, he went on a rampage and killed all the sorcerers that participated in the ritual: 30 in total. He was eventually restrained by Razen, the ChiefSorcerer, who cursed himand turned him into the most dangerous living weapon in the Kingdom’s history.
3Razen
The Despicable Chief Sorcerer Of Falmuth Kingdom
Razen is as cruel as they get. He oversaw the summonings of many Otherworlders in the Kingdom ofFalmuth as its Chief Sorcerer, and enslaved many of those Otherworlders. He is selfish and cruel, as he ends up sacrificing them to boost his magical capacity by destroying their souls. In the case of Shogo, he even takes over his body after killing him.
Razen believes he is one of the best sorcerers alive. As such, he is prideful in his interactions with most people. He only demonstrates humility and loyalty towards those he has sworn fealty to, like King Edmaris.
2Gelmud
Majin With A Disregard For Human Life
Gelmud is a servant of Demon Lord Clayman, who is responsible for a lot of mischiefin the Great Jura Forest. He is the mastermind behind the Poisoning Plan involving the creation of a dummy Demon Lord. That plan requires the destruction of a human city and the death of its inhabitants in order to complete.
He originally planned to start a great interspecies war in the Forest, but decided to create Geld due to the increased monster levels and threat in the Forest after its guardian vanished. This spelled the end of Gelmud as Geld ate him, since a True Demon Lord must not have a master. Consuming Gelmud and other powerful species allowed Geld to evolve into the great being called Orc Disaster.
1Clayman
Constantly Plotting Against Rimuru
One of the Ten Great Demon Lords, Clayman the Marionette Master, along with his most trusted lieutenants and subordinates, constantly plotted to sabotage and destroy Rimuru and the Jura Tempest Federation. Not long after awakening into a Demon Lord, Clayman hunted down Majin, stole their hearts, and forced them to become his eternal servants by cursing them. That is how the majority of the Five Fingers were born (with Yamza being the only exception).
He is a very manipulativeand power-hungry character, and those traits rub off on Yamza to make him even more evil. Although Clayman does not have that same sense of self-preservation as Yamza does, he was ready to lay his life on the line to protect his superiors and comrades in his fight against Rimuru.
