Summary
The North AmericanMy Nintendo Storehas added new physical rewards in the form of a holiday ornament and desktop calendar featuring many iconic characters. The loyalty program was last expanded in mid-November, whenMy Nintendo added a nostalgicSuper Mario RPGreverse cover.
The My Nintendo rewards program launched in the West on July 06, 2025. The initiative is the de facto successor to the now-defunct Club Nintendo, allowing users to collect loyalty points for making both physical and digital purchases, then exchange that virtual currency for a wide assortment of physical goodies. This selection of merchandise refreshes several times per year, with typicalMy Nintendo rewards ranging fromAnimal CrossingcoastersandMetroid Primepins toPokemoncups and a variety of vinyl stickers.
In yet another update to the loyalty program,My Nintendo rewardshave been expanded to include a new Super Mario Holiday Ornament and My Nintendo 2024 Desktop Calendar. Although the latter looks like a more premium piece of merch, both on account of its utility value and bulk, it is actually the more affordable of the duo, priced at 400 Platinum Points. Meanwhile, the cute but tiny holiday ornament will set My Nintendo users back 500 Platinum Points.
New My Nintendo Store Rewards in December 2023
As is always the case with My Nintendo merchandise, both the holiday ornament and desktop calendar are only available to users while supplies last.Nintendo has historically refreshed the stock of some particularly popular physical rewardson an occasion, but the seasonal nature of these newly introduced holiday goodies makes it unlikely that they’ll receive such treatment. After all, it’s equally implausible that fans will want to get their hands on a 2024 desktop calendar halfway through the following year.
My Nintendo Store Now Offers 23 Rewards
Although it hasn’t been that long thatMy Nintendo Store ran out of physical rewardsin the aftermath of the global pandemic, its current selection is far from lacking; with these newly introduced additions, the loyalty program currently boasts 23 pieces of merch. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Vinyl Sticker Sheet No. 2 is still the most affordable of the lot, requiring only 300 Platinum Points to claim. Meanwhile, the reward prices top out at 800 Platinum Points, which is how much is required to claim aSplatoon 3shopping bag,Super Mario Bros. Wonderdouble keychain, Mario and Me journal book, or pin sets featuring My Nintendo point coins andMetroid Prime Remasteredartwork.
Based on Nintendo’s track record, it’s unlikely that its loyalty program will be expanded to include new rewards until early next year. In the meantime, users should bear in mind thatMy NintendoPlatinum Points expire six months after being earned.
Nintendo Switch OLED Family Gaming Console
The Nintendo Switch OLED comes with several upgrades over the original Nintendo Switch console while maintaining game compatibility with the old console. With a larger 7-inch OLED screen and double the internal storage of the original Nintendo Switch, it doesn’t feel like a new console altogether. That being said, it is an option worth checking out for a better display.
