The special abilities of these clans have ensured that the Hidden Leaf stays at the very top of the power charts. Over time, more and more clans have migrated to the village and settled down. With that in mind, this piece has been updated to include a few more ofthe strongest clans from the Hidden Leaf.
There are just two known members of the Hatake Clan— Kakashi and Sakumo. Sakumo Hatake was known as the “White Fang of the Leaf,” and his power was compared to that of the Legendary Sannin. Sakumo was Kakashi’s father, and he raised him on his own.
Kakashi grew up to be an equally impressive ninja, and managed to become the Sixth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Kakashi also played a very important role in the story and his efforts during the Fourth Great Ninja War undoubtedly saved countless lives.
13Yamanaka Clan Helps To Maintain Peace
The Yamanaka Clan has been a part of the Hidden Leaf for several generations. They are specialists in mind-related techniques, which makes them indispensable to the Hidden Leaf.
The clan has been a part of the barrier team, which detects all those who try to enter the Hidden Leaf forcibly. Some of the most well-known ninjas from the Yamanaka clan are Ino Yamanaka, Inojin Yamanaka, and Inoichi Yamanaka.
12Shimura Clan Was Acknowledged By Madara
The Shimura Clan is one of the few clans with just one known member. The clan’s only known member is Danzo Shimura. He was trained by the Second Hokage and used to be rivals with Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Hiruzen eventually ended up becoming the Hokage, which increased Danzo’s hatred towards him. Danzo was also responsible for the Uchiha Clan massacre, which he claimed to have done for the sake of the Hidden Leaf. He was known to have prioritized the security of the Hidden Leaf over everything else.
The Namikaze Clan’s only known member was Minato Namikaze. He was labeled as a prodigy and breezed past all the exams in the Academy. He played a very pivotal role in the Hidden Leaf’s victory in the Third Great Ninja War, and was duly rewarded for his efforts.
Minato was namedthe Fourth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Technically, Naruto is also a Namikaze because Minato is his father, but, because of security reasons, Naruto was given his mother’s last name instead.
10Inuzuka Clan Uses Canines
The Inuzuka Clan is known for using canines to fight their opponents. The members of the clan have a heightened sense of smell, which allows them to track their target easily.

They can enhance it further by concentrating chakra in their nose. Some of the well-known members of the clan are Kiba Inuzuka, Hana Inuzuka, and, Akita Inuzuka.
9Lee Clan Have Taijutsu Experts
The Lee Clan came into light during themovie,Naruto: The Last,where several members of the clan destroyed a big meteorite that was headed towards the Hidden Leaf Village.
Rock Lee and Metal Lee are the only two known members of the clan. It is plausible to assume that the rest of the members also specialize in taijutsu.
8Akimichi Clan — Unique Way To Store Chakra
The Akimichi are a part of the four noble clans. Their members have the unique ability to alter their body weight. The members of the clan convert their calories into chakra, which is the main reason why they eat a lot.
The clan is headed by Choji Akimichi, who played an important role in the Fourth Great Ninja War. They have special relations with the Nara and Yamanaka clans. As per the tradition, the members of the three clans form the Ino-Shika-Cho.
7Aburame Clan Uses Deadly Insects
The Aburame Clan is often overlooked as a weak clan with no real powerful members. However, they are easily among the strongest clans within the Hidden Leaf. The clan specializes in using insects as weapons.
The insects have a symbiotic relationship with their hosts; they feed off their chakra and in return they can be used as weapons. These insects are extremely dangerous as they can feed on the target’s chakra and drain them completely dry.
6Nara Clan Can Control Shadows
Formerly led by Shikaku Nara, the Nara clan is known for its ability to manipulate shadows. The members of the clan use Yin release to control shadows. The Nara have a good relationship with the Akimichi and the Yamanaka clan.
The clan is responsible for producing very intelligent characters, namely, Shikaku, Shikamaru, and Shikadai. The clan is currently led by Shikamaru, who also serves as Naruto’s advisor.
5Sarutobi Clan Has Produced Talented Ninjas
The Sarutobi Clan is one of the lesser-known clans in the series. It was among the first clans that allied with the Uchiha-Senju village.
