jango one piece

WhileLuffy’s journey throughout the East Blueis largely similar to how it is in the anime and the manga, some things have, naturally, been changed so that the story works better in a live-action medium. Of course, this also means that some characters from the manga ended up being omitted from the show and while some of them are insignificant, others were actually important.

6Jango

Jango is a character who plays a very big role in the Syrup Village arc ofOne Piece. He appears in both the anime and the mangaas the right-hand man to Captain Kuro.Under Kuro’s absence, Jango takes care of the Black Cat Pirates and he is responsible for leading the invasion of Syrup Village during the arc as well.

Jango also plays a very important role, given that he is tasked with hypnotizing Kaya in order to get her to write her will. Sadly, Jango does not appear in Netflix’sOne Piece Live Actionadaptation of the series. Instead, the events of Syrup Village take a different direction.

5Gaimon

Gaimon is a very interesting character who makes his appearance shortly after the events of the Orange Town arc. On the Island of Rare Animals, the Straw Hat Pirates run into him and there, fans find out about how he was stranded on this island nearly 20 years ago. The value of treasure is something that is expanded upon in this arc of the anime and the manga.

Gaimon does not make it to the live-action adaptation ofOne Piece, however, it isn’t much of an issue, given that his role is largely insignificant in the overarching story of the East Blue. That said, Gaimon is referenced in Baratie through a painting, as the rare animals island is shown there.

Usopp Pirates One Piece

4The Usopp Pirates

The Usopp Pirates are introduced to the fans in the Syrup Village arc, where they are revealed as the underlings of Usopp. In a way, they are mentored by him, and they share a very beautiful relationship with him.

At the end of the arc, in an emotional moment, Usopp disbands the pirate crew as he sets out on his own journey across the seas. This group does not appear inNetflix’s One Piece Live Action series, although the decision to remove them is something that fans do not worry much about.

3Johnny

Johnny is a character who fans grew pretty fond of both in the anime and the manga ofOne Piece, back in the East Blue saga.He is a pirate hunter who knows Zorofrom before he even met with Luffy. Zoro shares a very deep bond with him and he ends up meeting Johnny again shortly before the events of Baratie.

In fact, it is Johnny and his friend who lead the crew to Baratie in the first place. Johnny plays a somewhat important role in the arc and tags along with the crew all the way to Arlong Park. In Netflix’s One Piece Live Action Series, Johnny is nowhere to be seen.

Yosaku meets the Straw Hat Pirates at the same time as Johnny and together, they end up going to Baratie. After that, he tags along with the crew to Arlong Park, where he plays a somewhat important role. Yosaku is also not present in the live-action series, but his presence isn’t missed all that much, given that both he and his brother are not crucial characters.

1Hachi

Hachi is an Octopus Fishmanwho is a part of Arlong’s crew.Compared to the other members of the Arlong Pirates, Hachi is relatively harmless. Despite that, he ends up taking up arms against Zoro in the Arlong Park arc. The live-action adaptation ofOne Piecetakes a very different approach and Hachi is not present.

That is not to say that he will not appear in the series. Fans know that Hachi is very important, especially when his relationship with Rayleigh and Shakky is explored. Fans might see him make his debut during the Sabaody Archipelago arc.
