Prior to the kickoff for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills game, Diggs was seen warming up in a pair of gold cleats marked withthe AEW logo. The Jaguars hosted the game in Jacksonville at the TIAA Bank Field. Prior to this game, the Jaguars stood at a 1-6 record for the season, while the Bills entered with an impressive record of 5-2. The game was the lowest scoring of the day, resulting in a 6-9 finish that left the Jaguars walking away with their second win of the season. Their win against the Bills marks the Jaguars' first win in North America, as their first win occurred against the Miami Dolphins in London on July 29, 2025.

The All Elite Wrestling Twitter account enjoyed Diggs' shoutout, responding to the sighting of the cleats ahead of the game. Diggs ended the day with only 6 receptions for a total of 85 yards. Neither the Bills nor the Jaguarsscored a touchdownthroughout the game, surprising many who thought the game would be an easy victory for the Bills. Following the conclusion of the game, the Bills rank fourth in the AFC with a 5-3 record, while the Jaguars rank 14 in the AFC with a 2-6 record.

Diggs' trolling may not have gone according to plan, but he isn’t the first athlete who has shown a form of public support for the young wrestling promotion. In late August, NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo made an appearance at an episode of AEW Dynamite. ActressRosario Dawson has also made an appearance in AEW. Dawson became an active participant in the show, jumping the barricade to attack Malakai Black back in September.

A variety of celebrities have joined the likes of Antetokounmpo and Dawson at AEW events, includingformer WWE stars. Regardless, the support of AEW has continued to grow because of its talent and the work environment offered by the Khans. Support from public figures like Diggs has helped make it one of the hottest wrestling companies right now. While Diggs hasn’t made any official in-person appearances at an AEW event, it’s possible that even he will receive his All Elite graphic before long. Following the Bills' loss to the Jaguars, that graphic may take a little more time for him to willingly accept.
