GungHo Online Entertainment’sNinjala, an online multiplayer action-game, is currently in its fifth season and the game’s developers are excited to celebrateNinjala’s 1-year anniversary alongside the launch of its sixth season.

GungHo Online Entertainment has released an informative Dev Diary detailing the game’s roadmap moving forward into its sixth season while teasing other future content as well.Ninjala’s colorful and stylistic presentation is matched in the Dev Diary’s unveiling of information, with months of celebratory content for players to enjoy. The Dev Diary video concludes with an overview of the Season Six roadmap, including the developer’s aforementioned content additions scheduled throughout the summer from June to September.

According to NintendoLife, the game’s sixth season is announced as having a theme associated to “superheroes and villains” and primarily frontloads the season’s content to June. Season Six will grant players access to two new Gum Weapons, a new Shinobi Card, and a Ninjala Pass Mini that can be upgraded to the full Ninjala Pass. GungHo’s Dev Diary takes a step further and reveals footage of gameplay with June’s added content, such asthe playstyle attack mechanicsattributed to the Extreme Motor and DJ Scratch yo-yo class Gum Weapons.

Ninjala’s sixth season and 1st anniversary are packed with other exciting content, such as the addition of a new, Egyptian-themed stage titled Sphinx Valley, purchasable body paint cosmetics in the Shinobi Shop, and login bonusesrewarding players with Jalafor continuing to play and enjoy the game. GungHo details a quality of life feature added to the in-game marketplace where the Specialty Shop and Special Collection are now effectively combined as a culminated Shinobi Shop where discounted items relating to the celebration may be found.

The 1st anniversary festivities include a sale toward discounted campaign packs for Chapter’s 1 and 2.Ninjala’s 1st anniversary will also feature an online tournament utilizing the game’s online tournament mode, titled The Ninjala 1st Anniversary Cup, and is set to begin on July 17th, which is one month from the Season Six launch. Participating in the 1st Anniversary Cup rewards playerswith an IPPON Decoration, but scores through ranked tournament achievements may award players with Emotes, Gumball Machine Coins, and Ninja Medals.

As if the Dev Diary roadmap did not have enough content planned already, a celebratory 1st anniversary live-stream is scheduled for June 24th and will disclosefurtherNinjalaupdates and collaborationsconcerning the game’s exciting summer roadmap. Until then, players may look forward to the sixth season launching on live servers from June 17th to September 9th.
